You can't really believe that, do you? And, yes, I did see the effect of both River's and Gate's injuries on them. Gates was far less explosive and River's passes were slow and sailing. The Pats would have played them the same way. I agree with that. But the Charger offense would have been far more effective.

The Chargers defense played amazingly well and the only thing keeping them from the win was their offense at 50 percent.
