HA HA HA HA (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=495&e=6&u=/ap/metallica_music)

NEW YORK - Metallica (news - web sites)'s Lars Ulrich isn't happy that the U.S. military has reportedly used the group's music to terrify captured Iraqis. Speaking in Europe, the drummer said he feels horrible about it.

According to VH1, he says if the Army just has to play loud music during interrogations, it should find something really grating like songs by the group Venom or by Norwegian death metal bands.

Ulrich is quoted as saying there's nothing he can do about Metallica's music being used. He asked, "What am I supposed to do about it "get George Bush on the phone and tell him to get his generals to play some Venom?"

That's alright , I don't think anybody is happy hearing the new
mettalica material. Wmmr hasn't played anything from st.anger
in days. They have a big concert giveaway and they are playing
alot of old material, but during the last week all the new stuff
just faded away! (listener feedback says it sucks?) Up yours, Lars!
