missing drives? HELP

I tried to put my compact flash card into my internal card reader, and it didnt respond, the reader has cf,sd,smart media, and memory stick, some usb and firewire ports, and some other ports. But the point is, each memory slot has its own drive, and now all fo them are missing. When I go to my computer all I have is my floppy,dvd and cdrw drives, all of the memory drives are gone, please help if you know whats wrong, i rebooted already

You actually bought one of those 7 in 1 drive bay things? Didn't it come with a CD-rom with the drivers on it?

came with the comp, its a memory card reader, has some spear ports, composite,svideo,usb,firewire,joystick, etc but fuck it aitn workin, something is up APPLE HERE I COME
