Glitch/cheat alert - Opponents will move up to avoid a clothesline. Lure them to the top of the ring and you can clothesline them into oblivion.

Fighter Hayabusa's "Back Brain Kick" was the most satisfying of all the finishers in the game.

Starman was fun, but his signature moves were really cheap and easy to exploit.

King Korn Karn was shit. Not fun to play as. No decent signatures.

Someone created all of these guys in Fire Pro Wrestling. He did 8 bit and then a more modern day feel for the guys. The 8 bit ones are spot on and it was crazy to have the initial grudge matches of Slender vs. Flair (Slender pulled the upset) and Hayabusa vs. Bad News Brown (Hayabusa with the victory).

I'll have to try this out. This game was epic for the first year or so that me and my friends had Nintendo.

Hitting the opponent, hearing the strike, and then that odd crowd cheer is just fantastic.

The opening theme to the game is the video game version of All Japan Pro Wrestling (for some reason it is also used in Baseball.... don't know why).

A little tidbit for all of you Fighter Hayabusa fans on how to land the Back Brain Kick:

1 - approach your opponent from either the left or right and be prepared for him to attempt a Rolling Sole Butt (Giant Panther favors the punch)

2 - as your opponent begins to execute a Rolling Sole Butt move diagonally down and toward them and press the kick (x) button

3 - enjoy the adulation of the roaring crowd
