I was listening to Don and Mike and they said that they were going to have a party on the 22nd of August to celebrate the fact that OnA were cancelled! I don't know about you folks, but I will be calling the show in total retalliation... For those of you (NYC) that don't get DnM, they are on 3-7P.M., and their number is 1-877-365-3636

Got to agree with that. Calling them would only mean that O&A fans are listening (not that that is wrong ((HOW DARE YOU!!)).)
I had stopped listening to them old farts way before they were taken off the air in NYC, but if they are actualy saying that now means that they must be sinking and the only way to get listeners is to trash a show that has been gone for almost a year. If they are indeed promoting a 1 Year party for the boys cancilation (sp) it's cause they want to get O&A listeners to listen and hear what they have to say, which has never been much to begin with, and to responce to what they are doing.
My opinion is don't call them out on this, don't call at all, cause you know that's what they want you to do. Fuck em.

This date in D&M history (well, sorta):

Radio hacks Gregg and Acne hold a contest in which a couple of listeners have "sex in a church". They would be fired one week later, on the 22nd.

D&M have won this, the latest in an array of radio wars which were inevitably ruled in their favor. The brouhaha started in late May, both shows were suspended for a week, WNEW aired best of D&M while they were live to the rest of their affiliates, and then, this.

Reading the stuff there makes it seem like they won somthing. What did they win? fat and fatter were taken off the air in ny cause they sucked. That board is making it sound like fat and fredda were reasponsiable for our guys being off the air, when in fact they had nothing to do with it. A year later they want to claim a vitory in a war they had lost months before? That's like germany saying they won the war after the US bombed japan. Or (more recent) like sadam saying he won the first gulf war after 950,000 of his million man army was killed by Our forces. What are D&M somking? Cuase I can use a toke off of it right about now.

That wasn't even correct. They weren't suspended for a week, right? Didn't Op's grandmother die and the D&M camp send out rumors saying they were suspended or something while in reality they were attending the funeral? I remember Opie got REALLY angry about that on the show one day.

yep that's when I learned of those ass holes, Opie was really close with his grandmother (the one who made him and his bro's maynayse sandwitches). He was basicially like "who the F would send out rumors like that, it would be one thing if we were actually on vacation but my grandmother died, how twisted is that"------I felt bad for him to have to deal with his grandmothers funeral and rumors like that it must of really hurt him:(

If I was an up and coming radio station, or a low level radio station with almost no ratings looking to get noticed, or an enemy of big shots like infinity or clear channel or hoohoo, I would take a chance and disregard liability. I belive that who ever brings them on will have instant ratings, and in a weeks time a following the likes they would never imagine. But that's just my opinion.

clearchannel and all those other radio companys were probably only saying that was because at the time sfs3 was still going on all over the news.now that every thing has settled down and after the war and every thing else in the news i think thats pretty much forgotten about.when OnA come back i bet every radio station will want them with syndication.Radio big wigs will realize:
