A car just slowly drove past my building blasting the macarena..
for some reason that frightens me to a great extent.

Even IF I liked that song, I'd be way too embarassed to play it loud enough for other people to hear it.

I used to go to this club in Houston all the time called "Numbers". It was the coolest club in the area, playing videos on big projection TV's and the mix was industrial, goth, new wave and grunge.
I figured their integrity was safe for years to come.. until I went there one time in the fall of 1995, and somewhere in the middle of the industrial, goth, new wave and grunge, they played MACARENA.
I never heard it again in that club the few times I've been there since, but still... that was just a damned shame.

How does one follow this? That song was popular in 96' if I remember correctly. I bet the guy in the car was thinking to himself: " I am kicking it old school"
