Rick Stacy Joins WNEW/New York For Middays

The 20-year programming and on-air vet was most recently in mornings at WMWX/Philadelphia and before that at KYSR/Los Angeles. WNEW, a.k.a. 102.7 Blink, also taps Tim Virgin and Alison Stewart for afternoons. Virgin was previously in afternoons at WHFS/Washington and has worked for Columbia Records, WXRK/New York and WKQX/Chicago. Stewart has been a news correspondent for ABC's World News Now and CBS News' Sunday Morning and spent eight years reporting for MTV, and she once was news anchor at WHTZ/New York under current Blink PD Steve Kingston.

Did anyone else hear Scottso in the back of their head? "Virgin"! :D

Tim Virgin? Holy shit, he's still alive? I know that guy from a while back when I was doing a mix show at a station that he was on in Cleveland. Weird.

Tim Virgin is a boring DJ down in the Baltimore/Washington area who puts people to sleep every afternoon, kinda like Douche and Muck... Why he would be wanted in New York, even if at Blink, is beyond me. But, good luck to Mr. No-laid Tim Virgin anyway! Have fun in another toilet station!

He wasn't boring when he was in Cleveland. I actually remember him being a pretty funny guy, and a great music director at the station he was with. But, 10 years can do a lot to a person.
