**See This Page With Full Graphics, Pictures and Color!** CLICK HERE --> : MSN has better detail then Google Earth!
Go here - http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?wip=2&v=2&rtp=~&FORM=MSNH
Then input your address. Once it shows a map over the place, click "birds eye view" on the upper part of the map screen. You can go one step closer by clicking zoom.
Lots better detail then Google Earth.

you're just finding this out? :p the images are a little older though
Not older for me. I have not only my new addition but my yard back to normal in these. In Google Maps, my house is still under construction and the yard is dirt.

Mass was the first state to have birds eye, a few years back. It was paid by the state to have it done. Done from a Cessena too. It rocks

The one of one of our houses is actually from late this Summer apparently. That's pretty nifty.

I do GIS (geographic info systems) in local government and we're actually getting ready to contract with the company that flies the "birds-eye" photography live local uses. Or what those in the business call, oblique photography. This company called, Pictometry (www.pictometry.com) contracts mostly to local governments at a pretty affordable price (compared to traditional orthorectified aerial photography) because, in turn, they sell the images to companies like Microsoft for their Live Local thingy. They use a patented technology and capture all four views in one flight path (five if you count the overhead).
It's pretty awesome and exciting shit and one of the things that make my job interesting and exciting at times.

It was newer for me on MS than on Google Maps. Guess it depends on where you live. MS's Live Search for Windows Mobile with GPS is better than Google's app too.

Old pic of my house, by at least 18 months. There are 2 bushes and a tree that are in the picture that I had removed after we moved in. From the look of the season, I'd say it is the fall before I moved (fall of '06).

Wow this is crazy.. I don't know about you guys, but sometimes when I'm zooming, and turning labels on and off, the picture will change to a different time.
Maybe it's just for me, because I live by an Air Force Base??
But when I'm switching between aerial, bird's eye, or switching labels, the picture will be different. There's a Home Depot by my house that in one picture is a grass field, then it switched to a construction site, and now it is a Home Depot like it stands today.
Maps live is really cool. Especially when going somehwere on holidays. Just helps simplify ideal hotel locations and stuff like that
Never really could get into google earth
