Here's a tidbit I found in an article about the Most Popular Radio Host Searches in Lycos:
Former WNEW/New York afternoon hosts Opie & Anthony, who placed at No. 2 in 2002, finish ninth this year, and former Coast to Coast host Art Bell, who ranked No. 3 in 2002 and 2001, now ranks eighth.
THE VIRUS WILL NOT BE CURED!!!!!!!
That is good. It shows people really liked the show. :D

Howard Stern Still Tops For Lycos Radio Host Searches
Internet search engine Lycos for the third year in a row tabulated all the searches for radio hosts made between April 27 and June 14, and the WXRK/New York-based syndicated morning host remains the most-searched-for radio talent. Rounding out the top five: ABC Radio Networks-syndicated morning man Tom Joyner, up from fifth to second; Premiere-syndicated talk host Rush Limbaugh, up from fourth to third; Coast To Coast AM host George Noory, debuting at No. 4; Cox Radio Syndication talent Neal Boortz, up from ninth to fifth. Former WNEW/New York afternoon hosts Opie & Anthony, who placed at No. 2 in 2002, finish ninth this year, and former Coast to Coast host Art Bell, who ranked No. 3 in 2002 and 2001, now ranks eighth

You know why that morning show is the most searched? Cause that morning host has nothing to offer his fans on that pathetic website of his. He forces fans to search for tidbits here and there instead of giving the fans what they want.
Why did O&A go from 2 to 9? Cause most fans already know where to go for O&A related matirial. Not only do they know where to go, but they know that such sites, like Foundry will update as often as possiable. No need for senceless searchass.
In my opinion the longer this morning host stays at number one in searches on search engines the less he is giving his fans. So is being number one in searches really a good thing? I would have to say no.

I think Stern is a benificiary or all O & A's searches. What would you rather watch Gilligan's Island, or the first Survivor? Stern is Gilligan, and O & A are the future, although I love Ralph Kramden, and Jerry Seinfeld, I will never compare Stern to Gleason. But, O & A are the Ralph and Norton of the radio. Stern is the loser at the Dean Martin Roast.
