Board Goes Down at around 4:30 EST

I'm not sure if this is the only one this happens to but is the board supposed to go down for about 15, 20 minutes every night at 4:30 or so EST? It doesn't load and will say "database error."

Zag once said, and I may be wrong about this, that around 4:30am the board does some automatic updates and stuff like that. Like I said, I may be wrong, but I believe he said something like that a while back

Wackbag does weird things for me too. I'll be browsing around and then nothing. I switch browsers and there it is. It's weird. I changed anti-virus programs yesterday, we'll see.

Sometimes, no matter what I do, the board won't load. I have to shut down my browser and re-start, then everything's fine for about another hour. There's no good reason for it, but it's like there's a limit to how much Wackbag Firefox can handle.

I was up the other morning around 3 sumpin' CST and got the WB is unavailable due to heavy traffic and bandwidth thingy. I thought maybe it was the end of the world or Jeebus had returned,causing that much traffic at that time of the morning.

The data base used for Wackgbag is extremely sensative to sun spots. During the winter equinox we experience these ranging from 3:30 EST AM to 5:30 EST AM. Im sorry to say this is a nationwide problem and there is not much we can do. If you have a way to build a massive pair of sunglasses then please let Ziggy know. We may need more for the budget. Reason being the servers are located in China.

That is correct - between 3am est and 430am est I have a lot of the automation happening, so sometimes people may have difficulty accessing the board.

Also - some DNS changes were just made today, so if the board is quirky for you, open a CMD window (in Windows) and run:

ipconfig /flushdns
