Anyone else start having problems with the XM Player Online? About 5 minutes ago, I lost the ability to hear volume, I had to turn my system all the way up to hear whispers.

Try XstreamXM or WMP. I never use the webpage player.

Maybe XM Radio Online would fuck you if you bought it dinner first...

BTW, no Online Issues at all on my end. I'm using IE6 and the most recent Flash Player 9.

If you're using the xm player, download the fix, which should take care of this intermittent issue:

It's been shitty for me for about the past 2 weeks. Constantly intermittant and dropping the buffer (but only on 202). I've also noticed that Ethel's volume is much lower than every other channel too. I didn't know there were alternatives xstreamsm eh? I'll try that out, anything to get away from the shit that is the xmonline streamer.

Download Xamp Studio. It lets you have as many presets as you want, not the 8 or so the XM Player does.

I use the desktop widget. It works very well for me, there's no need to keep signing in again and again, and you can have as many presets as you like.

Never had a problem with it.

It hates Firefox, BTW. I have to open an IE to use it.

XstreamXM?

I've always preferred it over the various versions of xamp, which have been buggy for me.

I was just desperate enough that I clicked on that. LOL, I know better.

No sound for XM at my office pc with any of the options available. Others in my office get it just fine, so it isn't a firewall issue. Other applications, including Media Player, have sound when it isn't XM. I am baffled. Can listen to the bbbboys on K-Rock's feed, but I want my XM back!

My online has been OK, but my real radio has been a pain in the ass this week. It's the big component stereo XM tuner, and I got in the habit of leaving it on 202 and not turning it off. A couple times this week, right in the middle of O&A it resets itself to the preview channel and I have to turn it off and back on again for it to load all the channels. 4 years I've had this thing and never had any problems with it until now. :mad4:

Everytime I used to install Xamp it would either work for a couple weeks and then fuck up or just fuck up from the start, so I dumped it.

Using a Vista sidebar thing now, hardly had any problems that weren't overall problems for all users.
