I get physically and mentally nauseous during those top 100 countdowns. Their other shit is so tabloidy and gay or sub-VH1 reality. Sometimes after the Soup I'll leave E! on and wonder why there isn't funny commentary over the shit stories they're talking about.

I saw the previews for that "The Return of Jezebel James" show while watching Idol (counts as quality time with the wife and kid).
We were kind of looking forward to it because it was produced by the people that did Gilmore Girls, who my daughter is a huge fan of, and it had Lauren Ambrose. She was the angsty red headed daughter in that Six Feet Under show, which I LOOOOVED.
We DVR'd it and watched it last night and it was hideous. Plus, Ambrose is still playing the EXACT same character and everything was too over the top witty.

Quality time should have had a sarcastic smiliey in there, but I kind of got into it a couple of years ago through them but this year not so much. My daughter's 17 and my wife listens to top 40 so they're part of the target demo though.

We watch The Office but never got into Heroes or the whole Law and Order thing. Can't watch Lost until I finish the 1st season DVD. I plan on checking out heroes on DVD soon though.
I know Anthony would cringe, but our favorite show to watch together is definitely House. My daughter is even hoping to attend UCI (Irvine, CA) in 2009 in some sort of neuro-science specialty.
