What, if any new games would you prefer at this time?

I have all ready tasted the Matrix game, and it was pretty cool to see scenes within the movie, things that were going on when you were watching Neo and the crew do their work. That was cool, and I beat it, so that's not an option. I can't seem to find a game worth buying anymore, I want a game like Vice City, but I have no clue if there are any on sale.

Summers are always crap for games. Nothing good is coming out till Sept, except maybe the football games (NCAA is out in 2 weeks.) The closest thing to VC on the PS2 right now is the Getaway, which isn't really new or good for that matter.

Not long ago I bought Socom for ps2 it is off the board... I may not buy another game because I don't think that I will ever get bored because of the online feature. There are some flaws that can be annoying, but overall I give it a :xyxthumbs and can't wait for Socom 2 in november...

On another note, the new tomb raider just came out, and looks pretty cool.

yeah tomb raider actually looks really good and its gotten some good reviews. i hope it is there hasnt been a good one since two and i like the franchise.

It is definitely one of the better franchises, and it doesn't hurt that lara has a nice set of jugs on her:D

I suggest you rent the new Tomb Raider first. It was rushed at release and suffers from a lot of framerate problems. There is a decent game there if you can look past it's faults. There isn't much out this summer on the PS2, but if you like rpgs I suggest Arc the Lad:Twilight of the Spirits. If your a platformer fan, Ape Escape 2 is due out very soon.

I will recommend some old Playstaion 1 games. The PS2 enhances the graphics on some of the older games, and if you never played some of em then it's a new game to you, Right?

Anyway the Colony Wars Trilogy. It's a flight sim/sci fi game that is none linear with multiple endings, depending on how you do in the last mission.

MotoRacer is a cool bike racing game.

SoulBlade is a good fighting game, it has missions that are not just beat the other guy up. Some skill is needed.

(sorry, but my PS2 library is still small, can't give hints on new games yet)

IMO, don't waste your time with the new Tomb Raider game. I have played all of the TR games from TR1, and this one sucks in comparison to the rest. I just finished it, and it was waaaaay too easy. It is also full of bugs. Laura doesn't even get her trademark double guns! You only get a few other weapons also. There are no major challenges (easy bosses), and the game play is pretty repetitive. I was pretty dissapointed, as it had been awhile since the last TR game, and I was hoping for something cool... :(

I agree I returned the game after two hours of play, and I loved every other Tomb Raider. JULY 17 NCAA FOOTBALL 2004
