Bababooie was a web site owned by some dude in texas for 15 years. They announced on Howard's show this AM that Babooie just receive the rights to it
and put a stupid picture of himself up.

It has to do with that

I think this is pretty telling. The way google trends works is not the "top searches", but the top trends. If everyday a billion people search for "hot sex", it wont appear on this list. However, if 10,000 people just start searching, "prime time sam roberts", it will pop up in the trends. The trends listing show the searches with the most active changes in a day.

So, for bababooey to pop up in the search trends, it basically means NO ONE was previously searching for him. Especially since there has been NO mainstream cause for the search term.

Close, but not quite. It doesn't depend on if anyone was searching for it before. Hot trends detects a delta from the average number of searches of a specific search term. It's how many more people are searching for something today compared to on average. If "frunkis" searches changed from 10 searches per day to 100,010 searches, it would be ranked the same as something that went from 400,000 searches to 500,000 searches.... both were up by 100,000 searches, compared to their daily average.

Thanks for bumping a thread that was only relevant on the day it was posted. Fuckin stern trolls...
