Confident Vos rules.
Attacking Mike today was so good, made it one of his best appearances ever.
So quick and on point today.

It's amazing to compare today with his bed shitting appearance a few weeks back. You'd never know it was the same guy if it weren't for the slurping.

Fuck that. Today's show was knocked right out of the park.

Everyone was on time. Good goin'.
Even Birbiglia, who usually isn't too comfortable sounding in there when I've heard em.

Everyone was great today, and I agree with Deadbent, Birbiglia is starting to feel much more comfortable around the guys.

When you don't have to worry about Jimmy being so quick to jump on you I guess Vos is under less pressure or maybe he was trying to defend his spot on the show from Nick.

Everybody was terrific, start to finish. The Leslie Neilson interview...I had a hard time breathing. I really hated seening the end of the show. Replay the whole train wreck on the next Worst Of.

He got fuckin rodney king'd by fucking everyone. Love when they initiate people. I really hope mike will come back.

And the only reason vos had confidence was because nick, him, op, ant were ALL piling on mike.

Was nice to see Vos in a different role other than being fucked with every second. When he first started doing the show back in the day, his role was more like today's. A fucking assassin.

I loved early on when Rich ripped him for basically doing a 3 minute act about how he was out of shape and awkward.
"Hey guys, I a just flew in from L.A"
" OH REEEEEEalllly..."
"Yeah... let me tell you..."

Shut up. Rich is right, anyone else they would have ripped them apart. A story is perfectly fine, but he completely set himself up, it came off Bob and Tomish.
At least he did it on his own, and Opie wasn't like "Hey Mike, I hear you just flew in from La....."

I Love me some Rich.

Anyone who hears Voss gurgle and stammer his way through an O and A appearance but hasn't seen him live has no idea what they're missing. The guy owns the room on stage. Bonnie is hilarious too. They're both great at crowd work, which is probably one of the hardest forms of comedy.

Last time I saw Voss, it was his second show that night and he stuck around for at least an extra hour just smashing people in the audience and killing.

By the way, anyone enjoy the subtle shots at Dane Cook by the comedians today? "I'm the Dane Cook of comedy". Fucking hilarious.

Nick Dipalo on marketing: "Show me good marketing and I'll show you a crappy comic".

Absolutely

My favorite Rich line was when burbiglibuliua was going ON AND ON AND ON about rabbits or something and reading and naming rabbits.

"Yeah, a lot of people are in to Peter Cottontail humor"

Fucking killed today.

Agreed. Vos is a destroyer. When I saw him last year, a couple ladies he trashed got up and left, one of whom tossed a wine glass at him. Classic.

To a better-humored, really hot cocktail waitress: "I'd like to see you in the trunk of my car with duct tape over your mouth." I've since stolen that one.

Some comics they have on like Regan do use material, thats just what theyre used to contributing on a radio show. The reason i dont mind mike using material is because his stand up is mostly him telling real stories from his life, so if he has a relevant story for the show, then why not tell it. I do have a problem with him saying the guys were going too far on the cancer and richard jeni jokes, thats just how mike is, but its weird hearing the boys get called out for being the pigs they are.

I dont think even Mike wanted to get into that rabbit bit, if you listen to it close everyone was gettin all quiet so mike kinda just tried to fill up some space.

Regardless, that show had me laughing more then any other in the last few months. 10/10

Nick Dip had some funny stuff but he needs to lay off the cancer stuff. He used some of the same lines a few weeks ago when he was on. It's become a hack bit with him.

Die in a fire you cunt. That set Nick up for the great line at the end of the day, "I wished cancer on three women today".

I usually love Vos, and I thought he was really funny on that show, but did anyone else think it was kind of bizarre how much he was laying into Mike? If you listen, he never laughed at anything he said, and anything he messed up on Vos would jump in. It was funny, but for a guy that relies more on stories rather than one liners for laughs it has to be tough, even from someone like Vos.

That said, he was intentionally funnier than I've ever heard him, I just hope we see Mike back.

Thats why Nick was trying to go easy on Mike. He knew hes a kid whos not used to the type of beating Nick and Vos can give to each other. He was trying to protect him a little bit, although when Nick said, "don't forget your fucking guitar you hack" I was beyond happy.

Also I think Vos was trying to be really good because he wants Opie and Anthony to know you don't replace me motherfuckers. Try and slip Nick in here past me I'll show you what Rich Vos can do. That said they both did an amazing job.

It seemed like mike and vos were pretty familiar with each other already so vos probably felt comfortable going after him cuz thats what comics do, and mike's last appearance on the show was him telling stories, and the boys would interject and add to the stories, so mike probably thought thats what they expected from him again. maybe next time mike comes in they should have regan there instead of rich.

I thought that Mike held his own. All of the comics killed and Mike's Bill Burr impression was spot on. Friday was a great show all around.

Birbiglia is one of my favorite comedians and fridays show was top notch. He sounded a bit offended at first but then he got into the swing of things....he was taking some good shot at dipalo and vos, i hope to hear more of him on the show.

Hysterical show. Even though it was funny I was annoyed by Vos constantly trying to smash Birbiglia, even though he's usually bitching and moaning about people smashing him. Not that it slowed him down, Birbiglia was killing for a newbie. That god damn Bill Burr impression made me shed a tear I was laughing so hard.
