JR Has Said that ECW Has Passed Away---
JR: ECW Has Passed Away, Bret Hart, WWE Divas, More
04/18/2008 by Steve Carrier

Jim Ross has posted his latest blog entry at jrsbarbq.com. Some highlights from the blog entry:

- The uproar that many wrestling fans have displayed over Mike Adamle replacing Joey Styles as the play by play voice of ECW is one of the more far reaching and passionate displays of opinion in recent memory. I find it to be a really good thing that Joey has so many, and deservedly so, fans of his work that he has cultivated since the days of the original ECW. Two points here…some saying that Joe leaving ECW definitively says that the "ECW as we knew it is finally gone" seems like a day late and a dollar short. The original ECW "passed away" long ago, for better or for worse, and a new televised wrestling vehicle called ECW is now being broadcast. Secondly, others have predicted that the ECW TV rating will drop because of Adamle. That assumption is highly unlikely. Announcers rarely influence the ratings, even though I would love to say that they do as it might mean a little more "cheese on my Whopper" come pay day.

- Speaking of Bret Hart, I cannot encourage any one enough to buy Bret’s autobiography. This is not only one of the very best wrestling books I have ever read, but one of the best biographies I have ever read…period. My personally autographed copy of this instant classic is one of my most treasured collectibles from one of my all time favorite wrestlers.

- I see where the WWE is looking for more ethnic Divas, specifically Brazilian and Latino Divas. With the company’s global expansion into many new territories globally, it should come as no surprise that Divas and wrestlers of varying ethnicities will be targeted. Divas function as excellent spokespersons, particularly when involved in corporate functions. Perhaps some of them will learn how to wrestle or become proficient at "cat fighting," as their persona’s evolve.

This could be the best idea the WWE have ever had. More Brazilian girls, more gooder.

Thats kinda cool, but it seems like it makes the King title less important.

I just hope whoever wins doesn't start calling himself "The King". I still can't believe that the king gimmick is still alive in wrestling. After all of the pain and suffering caused by watching "The King" Harley Race, The "Macho King" Randy Savage, and most recently "King" Booker, ETC. ETC you would think that the writers would never dust off that retarded gimmick again.

I have been reading some articles online about the whole Joey Styles replacement thing and the wwe is getting a lot of shit for replacing Styles.
Here are some of the articles-
First one from Paul Heyman-
Heyman Blasts Mike Adamle's Performance As ECW Announcer
04/20/2008 by Ryan Clark

Paul Heyman is back with another column at The Sun. This week, he blasts WWE for their decision to replace Joey Styles with Mike Adamle as the play-by-play man for ECW television.

Here are some quotes from Heyman:

-- "Adamle's performance was so terrible, it drew an intense reaction from even casual fans who couldn't possibly care less, and who were ready to take a baseball bat and smash their television sets after listening to his butchering of the program."

-- "Adamle is horrible. No one likes him. People at home actually loathe his presence on the show. AND THAT'S EXACTLY THE SORT OF PASSIONATE RESPONSE VINCE McMAHON IS LOOKING FOR!!! Do you really think Vince doesn't realise how incompetent this tra-la-la-goon-de-yay of an announcer is?

-- "The ECW show from the UK was TAPED. That means there was time for Adamle to grab a mic backstage and clean up the performance. Not the whole miserable, horrible, intolerable hour. Just the really obvious "branding" issues, like all 3 letters that identify World Wrestling Entertainment. Hey, that would be a start, don't you think?"

Second from a writer on wrestlezone, Scott Hudson-

WWE's Styles Clash
04/16/2008 by Scott Hudson

So Joey Styles has been “promoted” from the lead announce position with ECW to the editor’s cubicle in the wwe.com basement. I guess technically, for the WWE anyway, this is a step in the right direction. Usually when they wish someone well in their future endeavors, those “future endeavors” do not involve staying with the company. What next? Ring technician Val Venis? T-shirt sales director Carlito Colon? Crawlspace organizer Mike Knox? “Hello, thank you for calling wwedivas.com, my name is Viscera. How may I direct your call?”

My God.

During ECW’s heyday, I did not get the opportunity to see their product (I was kinda busy from 1998 through 2001 when it came to wrestling). But, after the buyout, I finally found out what was causing all that. A little late to the party I will admit, but I absolutely loved the ECW product even though it had recently been wished well in its future endeavors by the WWE.

When the WCW invasion angle died a quick, week-long death and morphed into the alliance angle, I cringed. I recall being backstage in Atlanta at Phillips Arena when the ECW originals (although they were not yet referred to by that moniker) turned their collective backs on the WWE and joined with Paul Heyman. As I was standing next to Steve Austin, he asked to no one in particular “what do you think about that right there?” motioning toward the monitor. I answered, “Well, its over with the live crowd.” Austin’s retort was perfect. “They went out of business with that bunch one time - they’ll go out of business again.”

The successful ECW was a three-headed hydra: head one was Paul Heyman, two was the ECW Arena full of the Philly fans, and third was Joey Styles. Take a long, objective look at what Vince McMahon now so adorably calls “ECW.”

Paul Heyman does on-line celebrity gossip for a British media giant. And does a damn good job, I might add. The ECW Arena and its fans are still there and they support the local Philly indy scene. A scene that does not include ECW or any reasonable facsimile thereof. But Joey Styles remained.

Somehow, through all of the gaped-mouthed booking of that “brand,” Joey made it still seem like ECW. Sweet Jesus, do you realize that a walking billboard named Bobby Lashley was ECW World Champion?! But, even at that low point for the “brand,” Joey Styles at least made the television show enjoyable. As the originals one by one were all wished well..ah, you know the rest...Joey stuck it out.

Armando Estrada, Big Daddy V, Boogeyman, Colin Delaney, Kofi Kingston, The Miz and John Morrison. Now think of Raven, Terry Funk, The Sandman, Cactus Jack, The Gangstas, Public Enemy, The Eliminators and The Pit Bulls. One is ECW. The other is the “ECW” brand.

The argument may be made that the roster of ECW was as fluid as a diva’s boobs during its run of success and that argument is 100% correct. But, the talent was never part of the ECW core. For the most part, they were interchangable (with a couple of exceptions). The core, or “brand” if you will, is what made and kept ECW hot. That core? Paul E., Philly & Joey.
Removing him from the ECW announce team is as boneheaded and misguided a move as I can imagine. It would be akin to re-branding Mike Knox into “The Crippler” Mike Knox. Just stupid.

Why do it? Could it be Joey was tired of the travel and wanted to be home with his wife and son? Maybe but, then again, sounds like he’s going to be on the road at least as much in his new role. Could it be that Vince decided he was paying Mike Adamle way too much money to be just a backstage interviewer? Maybe. Then why not make HIM the head of wwe.com? Could it be that Joey is being primed for the Raw host slot since Jim Ross might be ready to hang up the Resistol? Maybe, but Ross just signed a contract extension. Could it be that Vince has given up on Joey as an announcer and just re-assigned him rather than fire him outright because Joey is a wealth of talent and is so well-liked? We may have a winner.

If the first show is any indication, Mike Adamle may soon join the Mt. Rushmore of wrestling announcers that is thus far populated by Larry Nelson, Ed Whalen and Steve “Mongo” McMichael. But, even if Adamle becomes the next Lance Russell, Vince has succeeded in one thing: He has finally and officially killed ECW. Paul E. has been gone for a while and Philly has had precious few (two maybe?) ECW shows in the new version. And now Joey.

No offense to Taz, Tommy Dreamer, Stevie Richards, Nunzio and Balls Mahoney - but this “ECW” is not ECW. At least Ric Flair got to say goodbye.

Thanks Joey. You remain the best out there.

I already posted JR's comments on the whole situation.
Pretty Much everyone feels the same way about the whole situation and i agree with them. They should once and for all just pull the plug on "ECW" and just lay it to rest.

Wow, way to go out on a limb there.

Personally, I think that Scott Hudson is still upset that his only chance to broadcast in the WWE was that abortion of a match between Booker and Bagwell. It was the match that pretty much killed any WCW angle. I mean, why would anyone take WCW seriously with Bagwell out-restholding Orton? The lack of big names didn't help things either though.

I'm happy they got rid of Styles just to put him out of his misery.

Raw Preview--
Official WWE RAW Preview - King Of The Ring Returns
04/20/2008 by Ryan Clark

The following is the official WWE RAW preview courtesy of WWE.com:

As WWE Superstars return from the rich, royal tradition of the United Kingdom to American shores, the stars of Raw, SmackDown and ECW will compete for their own unique crowning glory.

For the first time in two years, a new King of the Ring will be decided in a one-night tournament that commences in the very first hour of a special three-hour episode of Raw, live from the BI-LO Center in Greenville, S.C.

Eight competitors will have to defeat multiple opponents in a single night to be coronated with the treasured crown and robe that WWE Legends and Hall of Famers such as Harley Race, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, Bret “Hitman” Hart, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Edge have worn during their illustrious careers.

It’s not known which Superstars will make up the tournament field, but be assured that the four men involved in the Fatal Four Way Match for the WWE Championship at Backlash " John Cena, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Triple H and WWE Champion Randy Orton " will want to make their mark and gain momentum just days before their title tilt. A King of the Ring Tournament victory would do just that.

Also watching the tournament live at BI-LO Center will be Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, who have been invited to settle their Democrat differences in Greenville. What will happen as these two titans of the political world face off in the WWE ring? Will their confrontation finally end their stalemate on the road to their party’s presidential nomination? Watch: WWE's invite

With Shawn Michaels and Batista at odds over HBK’s retirement of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair at WrestleMania XXIV, look for sparks to fly if the two cross paths in the tournament or if they match up with their special guest referee at Backlash, Chris Jericho.

Also, the Divas cheered as Mickie James ended The Glamazon’s dominance, stunning fans worldwide to claim her fourth Women’s Championship. How will Beth Phoenix react to the loss? And will other Divas look to challenge the new champion, making her new reign a short one?

Find out as a king is crowned on Monday Night Raw, airing live at a special start time of 8/7 CT, only on USA Network.

God I am so sick of hearing this. ECW: Extreme Championship Wrestling died over 10 years ago. It ran it's course. Those of us who enjoyed it had a great time watching and going to the shows, but it was mismanaged and run into the ground, bottom line. WWE presents ECW is a different animal don't compare the two this ECW is ECW in name only. It's a 3rd brand to develop younger stars with a bigger star thrown in here or there for a rating point or two and thats it, take it for what it is rather than what you think it should be.

I feel like "doesn't get the bit guy". I HAAAAAAAATED, that gimmick. I was never a huge fan of Booker T, but he was fun to watch in Harlem Heat. After those days, I was just indifferent to his character. The 6 time, 6 time, 6 time,YAAAAAAaaaaaaawn. But after the King gimmick he was unwatchable to me. It reminded me too much of the Honkey Tonk Man, Doink the clown years. I hope that it's Kennedy who wins King of the Ring...I don't really want a champion or 1/2 of a tag team to win it. Unless it's Cade beating Murdoch because we already see that split coming. I just don't want to see the tag team division get broken up when they've had such a good span over the last few weeks of actually putting on good tag matches

By '98 Terry Funk was wrestling the New Age outlaws with panty hose over his face. The height of ECW was 95-97, ECW died the day they signed with TNN and tried to be something they weren't...a national promotion. So that was '99 technically they stopped doing shows in like 2000, early 2001 but once TNN started ECW was not the same.

Backstage RAW News: KOTR Winner, Kennedy's Return, Clinton
04/21/2008 by Ryan Clark

It was announced on RAW this week that Mr. Kennedy would return next week to RAW. He had been overseas filming a movie.

William Regal was the winner of the King of the Ring tournament held on RAW. Huh? Yup. Huh?? Yupp........

I believe Mickie James played Hillary Clinton on RAW but I can't confirm it just yet. She worked the very next segment and looked very hot and out of breath. The guy who played Bill Clinton was very good and the guy who played Obama is a local indy wrestler from the Carolinas.

JBL Responds To Negative Criticism About His Energy Drink
04/22/2008 by Ryan Gray

JBL has responded to the New York Times article where Dr. Andrew McCullogh, director of sexual health and male infertility at New York University, was quoted as saying that Layfield Energy’s Mamajuana Energy Drink is “marketing hocus pocus." JBL said the following:

“Dr. Andrew McCullough mentioned that it was “marketing hocus pocus.” What he’s talking about is the original ‘mamajuana,’ which we have nothing to do with … nothing what-so-ever. To me, it was pretty irresponsible for a guy who’s supposed to be a doctor saying something so bogus without knowing what it is.”

“If someone wants the veracity of this, try it. Try to make up your own mind. We have had 100 percent of people who’ve tried it say how great this product is. This doctor doesn’t even look at it. All he does is stick up for his pharmaceuticals. That’s one of my issues with the pharmaceutical industry " they believe pharmacy is a panacea for absolutely everything. They give drugs for everything. We never claimed to be a drug. We never claimed to cure a disease. We never claimed to cure erectile dysfunction.”

“That’s not what Mamajuana is for. This is simply the hottest new product that Layfield Energy has out. It’s to raise your libido, give you a great sex life and that’s all it is for. It’s not meant to put a man on the moon. This doctor claiming this is about as irresponsible as you can claim. I hope he does better research for his institution than what he did before the interview for this article.

Hardys Return date-
Warrior's Return, Hardy's RAW Return Date, JBL Note
04/22/2008 by Ryan Clark

TMZ.com has an article on the Ultimate Warrior's return to wrestling.

Jeff Hardy will be cleared to return from suspension on the weekend of May 10. The Raw brand will be touring Michigan that weekend. He should be at the 5/12 Raw in Detroit.

On Raw last night, JBL held up a New York Times business section showing himself on the front page. The article was on his Mamajuana energy drink. What wasn't mentioned is that in the article, a professor at New York University called the product "marketing hocus pocus" and said the product is a bogus promise. JBL responded to the NYU professor on WWE.com, noting that he was talking about the original mamajuana product, in which JBL has nothing to do with. "We never claimed to cure erectile dysfunction," said JBL. He added that the product is simply to raise a user's libido and give the user a "great sex life".

Johan Venter sent this in: I was watching Sky News, a UK 24 hour news channel that broadcasts all over Europe, a little earlier and they covered the WWE appearance of the three candidates as a part of their US election coverage. The heading they used for the segment was “WWE Battle” and they played the complete vignettes as they appeared on Raw. The fake Obama and Clintons did not make the report, however.

JBL fucking rules...

They just had to roooone KOTR with Khali

My enthusiasm for the KOR was gone as soon as I heard Khali's music hit. In fact, my interest for the rest of program pretty much went out the window. I said earlier, that the WWE had enough mid-carders that they could have spread the KOR over the three brands. Maybe even have the finals match be at Backlash. However, something that started out so go good last night, quickly went to shit.

Was I the only one that muted the TV last night during the Divas' segement.

If it takes you 15 minutes to introduce all the guys for your main event, you may want to start that shit a little bit earlier.

Good for Nate Webb. One of my favorites on the indies.

As for KOTR... man I think they missed the mark on a lot of things, but I can't bring myself to say I didn't like it. It was booked well, and I think I need to watch it again to see.

Maybe I was too into my own booking of it. Which was... slightly off from what happened. I dig Regal winning it but I don't know... still waiting to see what that will develop into.

I miss the days of the King of the Ring being a method to break out a new superstar or really give a necessary push to someone who needs it.

However, if this means Regal gets a nice lengthy push as a wrestler... shit no complaints here.

Sadly, I'll stick with my KOTR booking... which I think I realize Kennedy's still off filming and couldn't make this happen:

First round:
Punk over Shelton
Finlay over Carlito
Kennedy over Noble
Matt Hardy over Santino

Semi Final
Kennedy over Matt Hardy
Punk over Finlay (STIFF)

Final
Kennedy over Punk

Eh... oh well...

Well, I didn't have as big of a problem with the story it told, if the fucking announcers at least acknowledged that Regal wasn't as deserving as Punk would have been, had he won.

Hardy, Jericho, Regal
OR
Midget, Injured Finlay, Much more tired Punk

Also, I know it's WWE's MO and the indies have spoiled me, but build a match a little more. When each match was 5 minutes tops, and the final was about as long as any of the quarters... kind of cheapens the KOTR.

I had it muted for much of it, did they put over Punk getting the win over Jericho to even up their "series".

Also, you want to put over the KOTR? Make it the last fucking match of the night. Putting the clusterfuck 8-man as the main event made the tourney seem like a side show attraction.

Sure, Regal and Punk may not be your aces for talent, but fucking... if the tournament was the feature, it should main event. And matches like that can push the talent moreso than it can cheapen the current crop of main eventers.

TNA Launches New Marketing Campaign--
TNA Launches New Marketing Campaign To Attract New Fans
04/22/2008 by Ryan Gray

TNA issued the following press release yesterday:

TNA Wrestling Launches 'Cross the Line' Campaign to Challenge Fans Across the World to Change the Future of Professional Wrestling

NASHVILLE, Tenn., April 21 -- Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling today officially announced its launch of "Cross The Line," a worldwide marketing campaign to brand TNA as a call to action for fans of professional wrestling.

"Cross The Line" will encourage fans who have never watched TNA to try it, current TNA fans to recruit others, wrestling stars from around the world to cross the line and join TNA, and it's the official launch of TNA's revolution to call out the competition. The "Cross The Line" will be supported by a multi-layer advertising and marketing campaign including
electronic and print placements and a variety of interactive initiatives.

During its first-ever live telecast of "TNA iMPACT!" March 27 on Spike TV, TNA premiered "Cross The Line" with a 30-second commercial, a new opening ID tag, and new graphics. Wrestling fans who attended from around the globe became the first to symbolically "Cross The Line" over yellow TNA "caution tape" as they entered into the "iMPACT Zone" at Universal Studios Orlando. "iMPACT" drew capacity crowds for both the live event and two additional shows throughout the weekend, with thousands more fans being turned away.

"TNA iMPACT!" has grown viewership of its original weekly episode airing to 1.5 million viewers on average per week, which more than doubles the original total average viewership from its debut shows on Spike TV in October 2005.

"We have been overwhelmed by the support and passion of TNA fans. Their demand for TNA can't be silenced, and that energy is what 'Cross The Line' is all about. Nothing challenges the establishment of professional wrestling more than the sound of millions of wrestling fans chanting 'TNA,'" said TNA President Dixie Carter.

"TNA iMPACT!" is now available in over 120 countries worldwide and will debut on major channels in Spain, Australia and Germany in 2008. Beyond television, fans can literally become part of the interactive experience with the "TNA Live!" tour. In just under a year since its launch, "TNA Live!" has toured across the United States, Canada and Japan, with more than 60 dates scheduled for the remainder of 2008 in North America, the United Kingdom and Asia.

Anticipation is building as this summer brings TNA's biggest licensed product ever with the debut of Midway Games' "TNA iMPACT!," a next-gen console video game. With more than 25 TNA superstars and the most realistic game play and graphics to date, the video game media have dubbed "iMPACT" the most eagerly awaited pro wrestling game ever. That same buzz is building around TNA action figures, as Jakks Pacific, the worldwide leader in wrestling action figures, shocked the world at ToyFare 2008 by announcing it would produce the exclusive line of TNA action figures for 2010.

Cross the line to TNA Wrestling, the most innovative experience in professional wrestling today. Join Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, "The Icon" Sting, Samoa Joe, A.J. Styles and the no-limits X-Division inside the six-sided ring of "TNA iMPACT!" every Thursday from 9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT only on Spike TV.

JR Comments on KOTR, Joey Styles, and the presidential candidates---

JR Comments On KOTR, Styles' New Job, Presidential Candidates
04/23/2008 by Ryan Gray

Jim Ross has posted yet another blog on his official website. Below are the highlights:

- The KOR Tourney Monday night in Greenville, S.C. certainly had its moments that featured a strong first half of the bracket and a perplexing second half of the tournament bracket. KOR winner William Regal is arguably one of the more underutilized talents in the biz and even though Regal can definitely talk, which all General Managers must obviously be able to do, he adds a valuable element of experience and expertise to any bout in which he is involved. In the immediate future one has to wonder if Regal is likely to continue to be the Raw G.M. or will Regal focus more on his wrestling career now that the U.K. native from Blackpool, England is the reigning King of the Ring?

- Howard Stern says he would not vote for a President of the United States that watches wrestling. Seems like a strange thing for Stern to say. Apparently, Stern has a very low opinion of the wrestling business. Now that’s irony coming from Stern, who is one of the last guys I thought would have an antiquated, wrestling bias.

- I mentioned here last week that I thought it was a sound, promotional idea for the American Presidential candidates to appear on Monday Night Raw in some form, but I will admit that I was shocked when Clinton,Obama , and McCain all recorded messages specifically for the Raw audience. On the eve of the all important Pennsylvania primary, the Democratic hopefuls got the opportunity to be "regular Joe’s" as did McCain who looks to have the Republican nomination for President locked up. None of them should quit their day jobs and look for work in ‘rasslin, but they all seemed to be good sports in their recorded, cliche laden spiels.

- Some wrestling pundits really slammed the "match" between the impersonators posing as Hillary and Barack. I am not sure what folks expectations were for this "contest," but it was, plain and simple, nothing more than a publicity stunt that did garner a great deal of pub the week of a WWE pay per view. The WWE made air on media outlets that would never mention the WWE unless there was a tragedy or a scandal. While the "match" was not my personal cup of tea, it did not last long enough to offend me and I sort of got a kick out of the ovationUmaga received when he came to the ring to put an end to the frivolity.

- The added stipulation to the Fatal 4 Way WWE Title bout at Backlash, making it "Elimination Rules," is a good thing in my view. I like the fact that there could technically be three, separate eliminations before one man is left to claim the WWE Title.

- If you don’t think HBK won’t do all he can to "steal the show" Sunday night in Baltimore you might want to think again. The Michaels vs. Batista match has evolved nicely since WM24 and is arguably the most talked about match at Sunday’s PPV. Following this one won’t be easy.

- Joey Styles told me Monday in catering, no jokes please, that he was really enjoying his new gig at www.wwe.com. Joey seemed to be the most relaxed and comfortable that I have seen him since coming to work at the WWE. Joey has already instituted several changes to the WWE website with plenty more on their way. Joe said he was now a "retired announcer" and budding corporate executive. Styles is looking forward to the OKC RAW on June 30, as he considers himself a connoisseur of "Q" after living in Atlanta, and Joey knows his sacue…J.R.’s Bar-B-Q Sauce that is….and is planning on eating at one of our restaurants while he is in town.

Hopefully Hayes was suspended for passing of the recent angles as good storylines

This seems to indicate it was because he called Mark Henry a nagger:

www.prowrestling.net/artman/publish/WWE/article1001127.shtml:

WWE Smackdown writer Michael Hayes is currently serving a 60-day suspension for using a racial slur during WrestleMania 24 weekend. Hayes was at a public gathering and used a derogatory term while speaking with Mark Henry, who took offense and reported the issue to either Vince McMahon or Stephanie McMahon.

Hayes and MVP had been using the word while joking around together earlier in the night. It was a party setting and Hayes had been drinking when he approached Henry. A pair of sources confirmed that Hayes told Henry, "I'm more of a n----- that you are." One of the sources claims that it was a play on something MVP jokingly said about Hayes earlier in the night because of the white suit that he wore to the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. Hayes then headbutted Henry in what one source described as a playful manner. Henry and Hayes exchanged words, and the former reported the issue to WWE officials.

Hayes, who normally goes on vacation the week after WrestleMania, was eventually informed of his suspension. Sources are unaware whether the suspension kicked in before or after his vacation was scheduled to begin. Either way, he has not appeared at any WWE functions since WrestleMania weekend.

Although a well-placed source told Dot Net that he believes Hayes was joking, multiple sources say he has a history of using the word and has been warned by Stephanie McMahon in the past. "On the surface they did the right thing, but this has been going on a long time," one colleague told Dot Net. However, the same source said that while Hayes has flippantly used the slur during creative sessions, he has never known him to use his power to bury a minority wrestler.

Powell's POV: One source explained to me that Hayes feels comfortable using the word around African Americans because he doesn't mean any harm. Of course, even if the word is accepted in some of his social circles, Hayes has to realize that he's working in the corporate world for a publicly traded company, not to mention how offensive that word is to many people. He's also in a position of power and I've heard from multiple sources that there are some wrestlers who laugh off these outbursts in front of Hayes, yet privately complain to others about his use of the word.

There are some people within the company who feel like Henry overreacted by reporting the incident and did so mostly because he was concerned about how it came off in front of others who witnessed the exchange. Again, though, I've heard from more people who felt like WWE officials should have addressed the problem with Hayes years ago. Furthermore, some sources are concerned that Henry will eventually pay a price politically, particularly if he remains on the Smackdown brand with Hayes. "Michael holds grudges," one source noted. "I'm talking for decades. You're his enemy for life."

Either Mark is a gentle giant or a pussy. He could have fuckin clocked him and gotten away with it. He is a pussy for telling on him anyway. Say its been about 7 months without injury it must be a record for the Silver back.

hahaha, I'm watching last week's Smackdown. During the Victoria-Cherry match, Coach says, "I'm loving Victoria's commentary during this match!" (Victoria was just talkin shit during the match) To which, without missing a beat, Cole says, "She's better than you!"

Not to sound like Ned Nitpicker, but Cherry either needs to lose 20 lbs or learn how to dress better.

How is he a pussy? Read the last paragraph. It says that his motivation for reporting it was more because he was concerned with what others would think. In that case, I would have to agree with him. You can't let the head writer / booker for the brand you're working on just throw out that word and shrug it off like nothing was wrong. People would start to think he was a fucking pussy for letting it slide.

And by accounts, Hayes seems to like using that word a bit.

Well Hayes did spend half of his wrestling career wearing a confederate flag. I have to agree with the way Henry handled the situation. If Henry would have decked Hayes, I see a suspension for Henry. Then when he comes back from the suspension, I could see Hayes holding a grudge and burying him. This way, Hayes comes back from his suspension and his actions can be monitored. I do want to send a memo to Mark Henry. Now that you have taken a stand against the n-word, you may want to do something about the "silverback" nickname.

The clothing is part of her gimmick, not from her wardrobe at home.

Although I don't share in your opinion about Michelle McCool, I do agree all the divas shouldn't have similar body types. Even though her face is so-so, Cherry does have a nice body.
