I was just about to ask that. Adamle's commentary was probably SOOOOO bad they edited out the whole thing.

It was different. Not saying they should do it more, but I kind of liked watching the match with no one talking.

Update-
Tazz & Adamle's ECW Walk-Off, The Creepy Brooke/Hulk Pics
04/30/2008 by Ryan Clark

On last nights ECW broadcast, Mike Adamle left the broadcast position right before the main event. Tazz followed him, and there was no commentary during the event. WWE.com has a story on the situation. According to the article, Adamle and Tazz exited the arena and went to the parking lot. The WWE site plans on having a further update on the situation soon. The article also acknowledges the fans that haven't been too happy with him so far in his role as the play-by-play man for ECW. The article also deems his commentary as "lackluster." They wrote: "It has been no secret that our traditional ECW fans have not been satisfied with Adamle’s lackluster commentary. Speculation is this could have led to the play by play and color commentator walking off during a WWE broadcast. Did Adamle and Tazz leave of their own volition or were they asked to leave?" Of course, this is pure storyline.

This week's edition of Raw drew a 3.3 cable rating. The first hour drew a 3.13 and the second hour drew a 3.46. Additionally, the overrun drew a 4.17 rating.

Devin Cutting sent in the following... The WWE house show in Lubbock, Texas on Friday, June 27th, 2008 will be a supershow featuring superstars from all three brands. Go to http://www.prowrestlingevents.tk for info about upcoming shows.

The creepy pictures of Hulk Hogan oiling up his daughter Brooke that we reported on yesterday have been getting a ton of media attention - and not just online. All of the celebrity news TV shows (Access Hollywood, Extra) have been running the story. The biggest exposure the story has received so far came during the American Idol broadcast on FOX - with a commercial for TMZ's syndicated show featuring the Hogan story.

RAW Complaints, HBK Fakes The Wrong Knee 'Injury'
04/30/2008 by Ryan Clark

WWE.com is hyping up the number of complaints they got after William Regal took RAW off the air before the end of the Triple H vs. Randy Orton match, saying its the most complaints they have gotten since Mr. McMahon's limo exploded.

It's worth noting that Shawn Michaels "injured" his right leg in his match against Batista at Backlash on Sunday, but was acting as if his left leg was the injured one Monday on RAW. It's not yet known if this was a mistake by Michaels or if this is part of the storyline with Chris Jericho using Michaels' mistake to prove that he was playing possum at the PPV.

WWE.com has a video up of Shawn Michaels having his left knee examined following the Backlash PPV.

Hiroshi Tanahashi is out of action for NJPW with torn ligaments in his left nee. He suffered the injury on April 8th in his Champions Carnival match with Toshiaki Kawada when he executed his frog splash. Tanahashi continued to work with the injury, taking multiple pain killer shots over the weeks, but has been instructed that if he did not get surgery, he was risking long-term damage. Tanahashi is expected to miss 6-months if he gets the reconstructive surgery. He was scheduled to work the May 5th Korakuen Hall show, but now looks to be off of that show.

At least the edge taking takers belt thing is somewhat interesting in who they will play that out, i guess?

This is why wrestling news sites generally suck ass. The people writing the articles are borderline-retarded and don't think about anything they write. The speculation they pass off as news makes the speculation threads on O & A message boards seem like every post is well-informed. Were both paragraphs from the same post? If so, then Ryan Clark is a fucking moron incapable of comprehending his own writing.

WWE Production Member Releases Anonymous Statement Regarding Michael Hayes' Use Of Racial Slurs
Submitted by Daniel Pena

source: www.f4wonline.com

As noted earlier, a person by the name of Matthew Randazzo plans on writing a book on WWE called "Ring of Hell." It will be released in July by Phoenix Books. The book will chronicle the use of racial slurs on the part of WWE executives in the workplace. One WWE writer told Randazzo: "Brother Love and Michael Hayes would also routinely make racist jokes. I heard them use the 'n' word a few times."

Randazzo also claimed that a WWE production member asked him to release the following statement anonymously:

Michael Hayes 60-day suspension for allegedly making racist comments comes as no surprise to anyone who has ever worked with him. Since Stephanie took over the reigns of Creative, bringing him on-board after Russo and Ferrera left for WCW, Hayes has been a racist boor making n-jokes at every writers' meeting -- until one day that he was shocked and offended that Stephanie hired an African-American Writer's Assistant in 2003.

Stephanie called this talented young man in for an interview while Hayes was on holiday since she knew that Hayes being on the interview panel would have led to Hayes saying something racist and causing a lawsuit even before the African American candidate for the job was hired (every potential writer is interviewed by every sitting member of the writing teams of all shows in a panel format, prior to meeting with Stephanie). He was eventually hired.

When Hayes found out that an African-American was hired for the job, he thought that he was being ribbed. He said to someone who used to work at the WWE at the time who wishes to remain anonymous: 'Hired WHAT as a writer? I didn't know those boys can even write their name. Let's take bets on how long he will last here.' Needless to say, the African-American writer lasted less than 4 months at WWE Creative, with Hayes constantly burying him to Stephanie; and he actually made racist jokes in front of the said writer. The writer never made a formal complaint, which boggles the mind, and it allowed Hayes to continue on in his position.

Since the African-American writer, at least two other visible minorities have been hired by Stephanie, and always when Hayes is on vacation. Only one has survived more than 6 months, and that is current writer Dave Kapoor, who is of East-Indian descent. For the record, Hayes has made fun of him constantly whenever Kapoor isn't around, calling him and The Great Khali 'Our two resident sand-[n-words].'

Several other people within WWE backed up this and other stories regarding Hayes this past week.

Was this Patrice?

That's a possibility. The more I hear about the Hayes' incident, the more I'm glad the guy got suspended. I will never take anything away from the guy, when it comes to his Freebirds days. However, he is just a racist ass and that I'm more of a **** comment more than you're. I actually find more offensive than if he if just straight out called Mark Henry a ****.

It could have been, but that article is very interesting. Since i was not around for his days with the freebirds so i dont know the whole story with them or anything. I have lost respect of him, i cant stand racists,Michael Hayes is a blatant racist and asshole. I dont have any respect for him at all.
More stories about Hayes---
Michael Hayes Still Writing SD! Via Email?, More Hayes Stories
04/30/2008 by Ryan Clark

Michael Hayes is still being kept in the loop of creative issues in the company via e-mail during his 60-day suspension for using a racial slur towards Mark Henry during WrestleMania weekend, reports prowrestling.NET. Multiple sources believe that the more outside pressure Vince McMahon gets to fire Hayes from his job, the more likely he is to stand by him. The betting line amongst the sources is that Hayes will return to the company at some point. Considering that Hayes is still being updated on things via email while he is serving a suspension, it seems to indicate that they're looking to bring him back at some point.

Defenders of Hayes continue to state that he is not a racist, although several others say that he uses racist language quite often. So much so, that a few people have gotten used to it because its an every day occurrence from him. On source who has worked closely to Hayes said, "You become numb to it. It goes from being 'holy s***' jaw-dropping to being an every day occurrence." Another source who has worked closely with Hayes added, "It's not if there are more stories, it's how many hundreds of times people who have been exposed to him have heard him (use racist language)."

Bobby Lashley & Michael Hayes Past Heat Over Racial Issues?
04/30/2008 by Ryan Clark

One of the reasons Bobby Lashley got a release from WWE on his terms, which lets him go to TNA if he chooses to, is because the feeling is that if went public on his complaints on Michael Hayes, and there was some corroboration, it would make the company look bad. So WWE agreed to release Lashley on his terms on the condition that he does not say anything negative about the company.

Back in January, Lashley talked about "evil prevailing" in WWE in his statement on his official website regarding his departure from the company. "I can't go into details of this now but like I said before sometimes people will hate you personally and try to destroy you, which has happened here. Evil has prevailed however like I said before if you continue your struggle doors will open around these people."

Additionally, one of the reasons Lashley moved from SmackDown to ECW in late 2006 was because Michael Hayes -- who was the head writer of the blue brand at the time -- wanted nothing to do with him. At the time, Lashley was saddled in a lame duck feud with Tatanka, who had just turned heel (and was fired three months later).

Im not sure about the second story the first paragraph sounds kind of forced and fake.

on another note it looks like Sabu and Sandman are in very bad shape---

The Sandman & Sabu In Very Rough Shape?, Nunzio, & More
04/30/2008 by Ryan Clark

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that The Sandman passed out at the 4/12 2CW show in Syracuse, NY. He apparently was a mess, was mumbling on the mic, worked a short match, and passed out. Spike Dudley came out to help Sandman to the back. About 100 fans wanted photos with The Sandman, but the promotion announced that there would be no photos. The Blue Meanie then came out and started signing autographs and talking with the fans.

From a fan who attended the show: Hey I wanted to update you about a show I attended about a month ago in Yonkers, NY. ProWrestlingSynicate (PWS) held it's first show in NY, they have had others show outside NY. This night one of event to take place was Sabu vs Sandman. Sabu has been a mess and really injured himself a week or so before for FTW on Long Island. He missed many shows after the event and his life choices have seemed to be down hill. He called in sick and missed to show and never boarded the plane. Sandman would face a named opponent later in the night. Sandman came out for photographs during intermission, did his whole shtick the whole way to the table. After intermission he headed back to the dressing room, you could tell he was lit. PWS had one of the best matches I've seen live with Jack Evans and Teddy Hart, 5 star match, the crowd was buzzing. After this match, Necro Butcher came out and announced he would face Sandman. This was going to be a hardcore fans dream! This match was better then a broken down Sabu. But Sandman was so passed drunk, he was pissed a$$ drunk, eyes blood shot, words were mumbled. I've never seen a bad Necro match, he is the only thing that saved this from being a totally cluster bomb. He made two offense moves and got his a$$ handed to him. In fact Necro had to job himself!!!! Necro took a chair and swung at Sandman, missed and the chair bounced off the ropes and hit him in the head in a 4 min. match! NECRO JOBBED HIMSELF! Sandman couldn't even get the job done, it was sad to see. He had everything together it seemed, cleaned himself up. Let's hope he can get it together, he was in great shape for a man whoses been through so much!!

The latest WWE music CD, WWE: The Music, Vol. 8, is already a flop. In its third week in release, the CD sold 5,897 units and dropped to #113 on the charts. The Music, Vol. 8 has total sales (minus Wal-Mart sales) of 32,257 units.

Nunzio’s trainer Billy Robinson, 68, recently underwent hip replacement surgery.

Chris Benoit Phone Calls Released To Channel 2

UPDATED: 6:22 pm EDT April 30, 2008

ATLANTA -- Channel 2 has obtained phone messages from pro wrestler Chris Benoit to his wife and son in the days leading up to their murder-suicide. The phone messages from Benoit, relatives and friends give new insight into what happened before and after the wrestling star killed his wife and young son before killing himself in their Fayette County home in June 2007.

Channel 2’s Tom Regan reviewed the answering machine messages, which until now, have not been released publicly.

“Hi honey. Hi Dan-Dan. Sorry I missed you. I’ll try you on your cell phone. Love you. Bye,” is one of the endearing messages from a father to his wife and son.

It’s one of the many telephone messages, some disturbing, that police found in Benoit’s home following the murder-suicide last June.

“Hey Chris, it’s Anne from the office. Just trying to get in touch with you. It’s Sunday evening, I think about 7 p.m. So we’re hoping everything is OK. Call me on my cell phone,” said one message.

VIDEO: Chris Benoit Phone Calls Released To Channel 2

One message came from Benoit’s 7-year-old son, Daniel, apparently directed at his father but it’s not clear when the message was left.

“Hi pooh bear. Be back soon. Just be there, OK? Eh, pooh bear? See ya pooh bear. Love you,” the message from Daniel said.

Since there was no suicide note we may never know why the wrestling star killed his family. It happened over a weekend in June 2007 when Benoit was supposed to be out of town for a wrestling match. On Sunday night, a concerned colleague called. “Hey Chris, it’s Anne from the office. Just trying to reach out to you. Give us a call when you get a chance.”

The next day there was another worrisome call from a friend or relative. “Hi Nancy, it’s Marty in Canada. Just wanting to see if everything is OK because we have heard terrible reports on the radio. We’re just calling to confirm. So hopefully, we can talk to you soon. Bye.”

And then there was a sad call from Nancy’s father. “My name is Paul Pomploni, Nancy Benoit’s father. I’m trying to get in touch with one of the police officers there. Would somebody please call me?”

Although the Benoit case is closed the battle continues over how his multi-million-dollar estate will be settled. Nancy Benoit’s family is also planning to sue the WWE for responsibility in the wrestler’s actions. Benoit’s father claims his rampage was the result of brain damage suffered in the ring.

WWE is running a WWE Iron Man competition (due to Iron Man coming out tomorrow)

The candidates are

Shawn Michaels 18.77 %
Bret Hart 26.37 %
Road Warriors 17.73 %
Ricky Steamboat 15.44 %
Triple H 13.94 %
Ric Flair 7.72 %

I don't know what people are smoking, but how can you vote against a guy who has a career of over 36 years...

It's beyond me why Michaels is ahead of Flair, he took 5 years off in his prime, he shouldn't even be eligible for this competition. Hart got kicked out of wrestling, so he is no Iron Man. One of the Road Warriors is dead, eliminate them.

Dude HBK, took five years off because he had a smashed up back. Dude he is one of the revolutionary guys in pro wrestling all that he has done, i dont need to rattle off a list because we all know what Shawn has done. But i voted for HBK a lot. We all know that Flair is god so i wouldnt get all railed up by this.

why did Mike Adalme (or whatever his name is) walk off the show before it ended tonight on ECW?
Did he get a phone call from his exploited fiance telling him to Stop, and then he smashed his blackberry.
