I absolutely love cheese. My favorite though has got to be mozzarella, especially a nice fresh piece. It can go with almost anything. It's just so tasty and moist.

Favorite: Parmesan. It's low fat and goes with almost anything.
Least favorite: Fromunda

Edit: Forgot about the Brie. Take a small wheel of it and wrap in Pillsburrry Crescent rolls and bake in toaster oven about 15-20 minutes. Add fruit wedges and crackers and yum.

64 Slices of American Cheese. *drool* (I think I'm blind.)

Ia American cheese even a real cheese?

I keep thinking about giving the edge to Mozzerella but sometimes that seems so bland thinking of the variety of cheese out there. Feta Cheese is pretty damned nice. I had this Cheddar/Cranberry Cheese from Whole Foods that was delicious. And cheese balls are nice with crackers.

I *love* cheese....Wegman's has a fabulous mild brie (as well as a medium brie) which is phenominal...it's a private label of a French cheese they used to sell as a premium label. Love feta, gorgonzola and bleu cheese too....the best cheese, however, has to have a wonderful accompaniment of cracker or crostini to make it the best it can be. Throw in a good bottle of red wine and that's a perfect meal.

Sandwiches:
Sharp Yellow Cheddar
Provolone
Domestic Swiss

Cooking:
Depends on the meal. Like chicken parm, shredded mozz. Scrambled eggs, cheddar.

I think the only cheese I don't like is pepper jack and the generic American cheese.

Oh a quick suggestion for a snack. Goat cheese wrapped in bacon. Pop in oven till bacon is done.

For the record, Kraft American and similar are "processed cheese foods" whetever the hell that means. Basically the margarine equivalent of cheese.

Processed cheese is cheese that has been chopped into a paste, shit added to it and then reformed. It was a revolution in cheese and Americans should be proud of it. Who doesn't like a nice chunk of Velveta? Yum.

Like almost all cheeses but not the biggest fan of the runny cheese varieties.

Also need to give props to cottage cheese and cream cheese.

Cheddar is best extra sharp. Pepper jack and colby rule as well.

I love a good double-creme or triple-creme Brie, some goat cheese is good, I love a good Roquefort or Danish Bleu, but being a good 'ol American boy, I've gotta go with some good cheddar. Especially either cheddar with bacon within or cheddar that's been somehow and magically worked into a Bratwurst.
