Trying to think of an 80's cartoon

I was talking about old 80's cartoons with a friend the other day, and I'm trying to think of one, but neither of us could remember what it was from. It was a scientist and his little helper named Leonardo, who never talked. I don't think it was it's own cartoon, for some reason I thought it was a little cut in on Underdog, like Go Go Gophers or something like that, but I couldn't remember for sure. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about and remember what it was from?
