I'd like to hear something more hardcore recently. Not permanent but daily.
Something like Peaches - Presidents of the USA
or Black Lodge - Anthrax.

Very close.
Your choices ?????

I remember when the opening song was relevant to what was going to be discussed on the show. Now it just seems so arbitrary. A good example was back when the Roosevelt Island tram got stuck and the next day the show opened with "trapped" by Bruce Springsteen.

Absolutely

Can't you just make an intro including those songs?
I thought they were allowing listeners to do their work for them now.

Just put some random nonsensical movie quote and segue it into Peaches.

I only got the chance to see them once and it was the line-up that was made up of ST and members of Infectious Grooves. They still put on a hell of a show.
