GALENA PARK, Texas — Four North Shore High School students claim they caught one of their teachers watching porn and masturbating in a school classroom Wednesday afternoon.
According to district officials, the students reported seeing 33-year-old Fernando Gonzalez in his empty classroom, watching pornography on a computer and inappropriately touching himself.
One of the students told 11 News the incident happened between classes, and that he saw it through the door of the classroom.

Gonzalez was immediately suspended and escorted from campus. He was also arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.
But the charges go beyond that. Late Wednesday afternoon, Harris County constables charged the instructor with two counts of possession of child pornography.
Investigators told 11 News that they found two computers – one that belongs to the school and another that was not authorized to be on campus -- and on both they found pornography. They claim they also found child porn.
“We have those two charged and quite a few computer disks with child pornography on them,” Capt. Gary Jones of the Harris County Pct. 3 Constable Office said.
Investigators do not believe there were students in the room at the time.
Gonzalez has been with Galena Park ISD for 10 years and was working at North Shore High School’s ninth and 10th grade campus as a math teacher.
The district said one of the reasons they’re taking the claims so seriously is that the four students independently came forward with the allegations.
The teacher has been suspended with pay and asked not to return to the campus until the investigation is complete.
Investigators said after he was arrested, Gonzalez confessed.
“He is embarrassed and ashamed, and he very will should be,” said Capt. Jones. “Apparently this is something that has a hold of him, and he can’t do anything about it without some help.”
Meanwhile, the school district was praising the students who came forward.
“They did the right thing in this regard,” said Galena Park Assistant Superintendent Bourke Meagher.
School officials said Gonzalez did pass a background check before he was hired. They'll send a letter home with students Thursday to explain to parents what happened.
