Lab Tech Accused of Having Sex with 92 Year Old Dead Body

TEANECK, NJ (AP) -- A lab technician is accused of sexually abusing the corpse of a 92-year-old woman at a Teaneck hospital.

Twenty-four-year-old Anthony Merino was fired from his job at Holy Name Hospital.

Authorities said a security guard saw him engaging in sexual activity with the body in the hospital morgue.

Bergen County officials charged him with desecrating human remains, which is punishable by up to 10 years in state prison.

A judge set bail at $400,000 and required Merino to undergo a psychological exam.

A guy doing a body pick-up can try picking up the legs, and the skin will literally slide off the DB's legs, leaving you with a disgusting mess of blood and goop on one hand, and a pair of un-tanned leather pantyhose on the other.

It can happen with the corpses of younger people, too, but it's apparently much more common for old folks.

From what I got from the old roommate, funeral homes are the ultimate in retail mark-up, though. That cremation urn you buy for grandpa costs you a thousand, but the funeral home buys them for maybe $50/each. Those places make MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD jack, and they're pretty much recession proof.

When I was in college, a friend of mine's family owned a mortuary. He took me on a tour of the "facilities" once and it kind of freaked me out. He used to tell me stories about them letting out moans because pockets of gas would settle and times when they would move an arm and stuff. A lot of the males would arrive with hard-ons.
