motherfucker. can we have a 5 minute period where HHH isn't on screen?
And that was only a few ideas that who knows if they would amount to anything.
it would be interesting as hell...imagine if WWE essentially had a suggestion box for story lines/writing? Minimum requirement, 6 months of plot lines, must include ideas for ALL titles as well as 3 mid-card plot lines
ugh...Miz & Morrison vs. Finlay & Hornswoggle for the tag straps? You're fucking kidding me...that's who they're going to job the titles to???
It would be a great idea. Would love if they had a contest like that. Team Wackbag.

every once in awhile, TVjobs.com will have openings for WWE writers. The posting themselves are hilarious. You are required to have a knowledge of all current storylines, be familiar with all of the characters.....
...and be exceptional with "soap opera" style storytelling.

I just watched Raw, and it was better than the shit they put on last week. The matches were much better than last week, eventhough that Tag match was a fucking joke.
The Triple Haitch/Cena promo wasn't as horrid as the previous few, and that line about Cena's fans not being able to watch, because it was past their bedtime was pretty funny.
Vince was actually funny during the phone call segments, I particularly enjoyed "Arent you the luckiest guy", and his $16 to the NC twat.
Y2J was once again excellent on his promo. Naitch coming out was quite a welcome surprise. I like the Triple Haitch/ Jericho semi-feund they had on last night. I got the feeling from the promo backstage that Triple Haitch doesn't like Jericho, then again that might be me reading too much into the internet rumors.
WTF was with Lance Cade doing a run in? I mean who the fuck had Lance fucking Cade coming out and beating up on both Hunter and Cena, it definitely surprised me that they are actually going to give him this big of a push.
Oh and the best part of Raw was Y2J standing over Triple Haitch and Cena, doing his pose. That's the way it should be, now all Y2J needs is the WWE belt, not the spinner one.
As for the Wackbag writing team, I think some of us could do a better job writing, than the current team, but we would probably get the WWE into some serious trouble with the PC police. Then again Vince has never bowed down to them, so who knows.

I think we are selling ourselves short. If we were writing and booking the WWE, we could change for it for the better in less than 6 months. Although I don't think we would be able to sell the strap-on on a pole divas' match.
Whoever told Vince it would be a good idea to give away the money on TV, needs to be shot. Whoever came up with the idea for the "did you know segments", needs to be thrown down a flight of stairs.
The draft should be happening after the PPV, not before it.
That was a big misuse of Flair. As Jericho was in the ring, I kept telling myself Triple H is going to come out. Since the WWE proved me right, there was no need to use Flair in that spot.
Bikini match very good although result was expected. Even though Maria really didn't get that post-Playboy push, that the others got.
Still scratching my head about Lance Cade coming out.
I predict Crime Time will no longer be with the WWE by the end of the summer.

Even though this Raw was bad at least it was not as bad as last weeks Raw,
once again Y2J amazing and I'm loving him as a heel. I'm a lil confused about the Cade run-in.
Katie Lee is going to get her title shot at Night of Champions, im thinking that she is going to win the belt.
I agree with Aizazzle about Y2J being the WWE champ, He is the only person who consistently week after week has done a stellar job.
It was nice to see Flair back on Raw, his appearance made me forget about the shitty contest, until the next segment started.
Also i would like to see Y2J vs. HHH in the future also.
Other then that there is nothing really to talk about because nothing really happened
Lets hope that the draft will bring some more new faces to Raw because that would be really nice.

This Weeks RAW Rating Is Way Up, & More Notes

How's it not good that the ratings were up? The show was significantly better, even with the McMahon's Millions
next week should be huge with the draft, but it's stupid that they're doing it before the PPV...definitely should be the Raw afterwards
tysonpunchinguterus

I kind of get why they're doing the draft before the PPV instead of after, but I still don't like it. They probably think that giving away money and holding the draft will build interest in the product and help sell the PPV to new viewers or fans who didn't plan on paying for the PPV. The only problem with that is that it pretty much assures the viewer taht either nobody on the PPV will be drafted to another show or that anyone drafted to another show won't leave the PPV with a title belt, so any match involving someone who was drafted will become a foregone conclusion (except for maybe the women's title since I dont' think it really matters what show it's on and I'm not counting anyone going from ECW to Smackdown or vice versa since they're essentially just extensions of each other now).
Having said that, I do enjoy the draft shows, so I'm still looking forward to it.

When i put "not good, not good" i meant that its not good because then the contest might keep on going. But it is good because at least they are pulling out of the slump.
As for the Draft i think it is a "TNA Move" remember when TNA did the whole ranking thing for each of their own divisions right before one of their big PPVs and i remember that people had the same reaction to that as they have to the draft being held before a PPV, not in the same sense but you know what i mean.
I to like the Draft it always brings excitement and also i also like to see where everyone gos and shit. I enjoy it and im looking forward to it lets hope that Raw gets some fresh faces. I would be good if some of the things that Lance Storm said would pan out because he has some damn good ideas.

They need to not have 2 brands anymore and combine both shows with the best wrestlers like they use to. Let the rest go to TNA. Smackdown is unwatchable and whats happened to the ECW brand is a disgrace. Switch shit up a little and make ECW its own Brand with Unknown Guys hungry for a chance in the WWE.

I disagree. Smackdown has been very good...you get at least 2 good matches per show and the storylines aren't mind-numbing stupid. And ECW isn't as wretched as it used to be. They focused more on making it a wrestling show and less on making it a WWE version of ECW.
Though it might not be saying much, both are better than Raw.

Scary HHH, Orton, Cena Stat--
Scary Triple H-Orton-Cena Stat, Million-Dollar 'Mania
06/20/2008 by Ryan Clark
It's interesting to note that since the creation of the second WWE Title in September 2002, every Raw title pay-per-view match besides two has featured either Triple H, John Cena or Randy Orton. And in the two shows in which none of the three wrestlers were featured, Triple H was in the main event of both pay-per-views, which of course were pushed bigger than the title matches on those shows. Those two shows are Bad Blood 2004 (featuring Chris Benoit vs. Kane in a long forgotten match with Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels in a 47-minute Hell in the Cell bout as the main event) and Vengeance 2006 (featuring Rob Van Dam vs. Edge in an undercard match and the in-ring reunion of D-Generation X in the main event, who took on the entire Spirit Squad in a 5-on-2 Handicap Match).

Some more drug Scandals-
Must-Read: 6 Wrestlers In Astin Drug Scandal, Including Mysterio
06/22/2008 by Ryan Clark
Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
An indictment was recently filed against Dr. Phil Astin III, previously a personal physician to a number of professional wrestlers in the Atlanta area including most notably, Chris Benoit. Astin faces 175 federal counts of illegal prescription abuse to 17 different patients. At least six of these patients are believed to be professional wrestlers.
Perhaps the most notable thing is that even though the government claimed Astin had prescribed ten months worth of steroids to Chris Benoit every three to four weeks for one year between May 2006 and May 2007 (and somehow, someway never failing a WWE drug test along the way), none of the counts regard anabolic steroid usage. Astin was largely known in the Atlanta sports community for prescribing anabolic steroids to athletes, and not exclusively to ones in the area.
The government is going after Astin for prescribing drugs without often examining patients thoroughly. The indictment said that in one instance, drugs prescribed by Astin resulted in the death of a patient, believed to be former professional wrestler Mike "Johnny Grunge" Durham. Although, none of the counts in the indictment were related to Durham even though he was prescribed heavy doses of somas in the days before his untimely death in February 2006 at the age of 39.
The 17 patients are referred to by their initials in the indictment. Two of the patients are Oscar Gutierrez, better known as Rey Mysterio, as well as former WWE wrestler Mark Jindrak, as the indictment includes previous charges related to distributing painkillers and other drugs to them last July. When questioned about his involvement with Astin during an appearance on Fox News' Red Eye program last August promoting his wrestling return at SummerSlam a few days later, Mysterio said he was prescribed pain medication from Astin due to six knee operations. He also denied ever using steroids. Jindrak is currently living in Mexico City, Mexico, competing for the CMLL promotion under the name Marco Corleone.
Also listed in the indictment are the initials CMB and NEB, likely referring to Christopher Michael Benoit and Nancy Elizabeth Benoit. The initials MAB and RWH are also listed and believed to be well known pro wrestlers. MAB appears to be Buff Bagwell, who's real name is Marcus Alexander Bagwell. RWH is believed to be one-half of the current WWE World Tag Team Champions, Hardcore Holly, who's real name is Robert William Howard. Last July, ABCNews.com reported that along with Benoit, Jindrak, and Gutierrez, Bagwell and Holly had their medical records seized by federal agents from Dr. Phil Astin's office. Lex Luger was also named in ABC's report, but no charges regarding him were filed in the indictment.
The indictment lists Astin as prescribing drugs illegally to Chris Benoit from December 13, 2004 to June 22, 2007, the day Benoit killed his wife. Astin prescribed him 600 Lorcets and 600 Somas on December 13, 2004, which lasted approximately 19 weeks, before Astin gave him a refill on those same prescriptions, which lasted about four months. That was the regular pattern of dosages prescribed to Benoit every few months until his death.
The indictment notes that Nancy Benoit regularly received prescriptions for Lorcet, Xanax and Somas -- mainly Lorcet -- from June 6, 2005 to May 30, 2007. According to the indictment, Nancy usually got 75 tablets of Lorcet every 11 days to nine weeks, although on August 11, 2006, she got an undated prescription allowing her to get 600 tablets of Lorcet and 600 of Xanax, which lasted eight weeks. From then on out she was getting 150 Lorcet tablets per visit, but on March 12, 2007 and May 30, 2007, she was given 120 tablets at first with the ability for 240 additional tablets with refills.
According to the indictment, Jindrak regularly received huge quantities of undated prescriptions during his time in World Wrestling Entertainment, which lasted through July 2005. He was still being prescribed drugs well into his departure from the company. From April 29, 2004 to April 16, 2007, Jindrak received Percosets, Vicoprfen, Xanax, Lorcet, Soma and Adderall. After moving to Mexico City full-time in 2006, he would return to Atlanta every three months or so to visit Astin. On September 8, 2006, Astin prescribed Jindrak a total of 1,740 pills (120 Percosets, 90 Adderall, 600 Lorcets, 480 Xanax and 480 Soma), which lasted for three months. That was the usual pattern with his visits, every three months with the same number of pills. Although, Jindrak went through one batch in six weeks in December 2006-January 2007. On December 8, 2006, Jindrak received prescriptions for 1,770 pills and came back just six weeks later on January 19, 2007. That batch lasted for about three months before his next visit to Astin on April 16, 2007 in which he was prescribed 1,740 pills.
Regarding RHW, who is believed to be current WWE star Hardcore Holly, he was prescribed Percoset, Lorcet and Soma every few months, and was given undated prescriptions for almost everything else needed. On September 19, 2006, Astin prescribed him total of 2,550 pills.
MAB, believed to be Marcus Alexander Bagwell, was regularly prescribed pain killers from Astin. On December 7, 2006, Bagwell received prescriptions for Percoset, Lorcet, Xanax and Soma totaling 1,680 pills and came back for a similar refill ten weeks later. Bagwell regularly visited Astin every eight to nine weeks up until his arrest shortly after Benoit killed his wife and son. Bagwell's last visit took place on June 14, 2007 and he was prescribed the same four sets of pills, as well as 60 40 mg. tablets of Oxycontin on the side.
And last but not least we come to Oscar Gutierrez, otherwise known as Rey Mysterio. Gutierrez also received undated prescriptions and post-dated prescriptions for either Percoset or Lorcet, although the dosages weren't as high as the other pro wrestlers. Since he lives in Chula Vista, California, he saw Astin less frequently than the other other wrestlers in question who all lived in the Atlanta area except for one. Since WWE's introduction of the Wellness policy in November 2005, he was only listed as having made two visits to Astin, which took place during the summer of 2006. WWE wrestlers are only supposed to use primary care physicians for prescriptions, so it seems a little strange that Gutierrez's primary doctor is in an Atlanta suburb when he lives in Southern California. On June 28, 2006, Gutierrez was prescribed 120 Percosets, 150 Lorcets and refills allowed for 450 more Lorcets. He received a similar level of medication a few weeks later on July 20, 2006 -- three days before losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Booker T at the Great American Bash.
At the time, Gutierrez was suffering from a major knee injury and had been putting off some much needed surgery for several months. Of course, Gutierrez was receiving the biggest push of his life in the wake of the death of close friend Eddie Guerrero, which is why he kept working through the injury. After losing the title, he kept going in order to work a three-month-long program with Chavo & Vickie Guerrero. He finally underwent knee surgery in October 2006 after his feud with the two came to a close, which put him out of the ring for about ten months. There were no records in the indictment of him dealing with Astin during his surgery recuperation.

All the good guys get taken from Smackdown and sent to raw, and then are forgotten and unused. Meanwhile, garbage from Raw gets dumped on SD. So we'll see.
Even though I think tommorrow night's draft will be a clusterfuck, I have decided to make some predictions/what I would like to see happen. Going from past drafts, I have made 4-5 picks from each brand.
Raw:
Tommy Dreamer-This probably isn't a promotion, I could see a repeat of last year and what happened with the Sandman. Getting lost in the shuffle and then finally being let go from the company.
MVP-I say keep him as a heel and have him feud with either one of the following: Kennedy, Triple H, or Cena.
Deuce-The end is near for another tag team, so I could see him being part of that supposed 2nd generation wrestlers stable, since he is Snuka's son.
Michelle McCool-Can we say a possible bitch turn and feud with Mickie James
Jesse/Festsus
Smackdown:
Shawn Micheals-I said before he should get at least one more title run. A feud with Edge would be great. Which leads to the next pick
CM Punk-Finally cashs in MITB against the winner of the Edge/Shawn Micheals feud. Note: Knowing the WWE, I could see the WWE making it a Shawn Micheals/Undertaker feud, which wouldn't be too bad either.
Trevor Murdoch-He is today's Marty Jannety or Stevie Ray and heads off to jobber hell.
Layla-This is a shelfish pick, I want to see more of her and there are times I totally forget that ECW is on.
ECW:
Santino-It looks like the WWE isn't too forgiven when it comes to his DWI.
Umaga-Reunites with Armando Estrada and later feuds with either the Big Show or Kane
Jillian Hall
Rey Mysterio Jr.-The WWE will probably keep the talent exchange gimmick going, so he could still make appearences on Smackdown. Note: Knowing the WWE, something tells me, he will be drafted by Raw.
Crime Time-Its not like ECW isn't colored enough and it will probably led to their eventual release from the company.

that being said, I'd like to see either him or HHH on Smackdown. Definitely looking forward to tomorrow night
If not Micheals, then I wouldn't mind seeing HHH on Smackdown either. I think if he was smart, he would do it and show all the haters he can put the company before himself. This way, they can stop shooting off their mouths every few months.
Or if not those two, I could see it being Cena which will probably lead to another Cena/Edge feud.
O&APartyRock24

My predictions-
MVP- To Raw to feud with Kennedy to become #1 Contender for the IC Title
Punk-To Smackdown to feud with the returning Undertaker or something along those lines
Umaga- Smackdown thats a given
Batista- To Raw, new "fresh face" in the main event picture on Raw, and also might lead to some good matches if done right. I would like to see a Randy Orton vs. Batista Feud also.
Carlito- To Smackdown, get him out of the bad place that he is in on Raw and put him up against Matt Hardy and other guys.
Mike Knox- To Smackdown, i think that that would be a good move because it gets him out of ECW and also its a new dynamic added to Smackdown. I dont think it will happen due to his steroid thing that surfaced earlier this year.
If the draft was held after Night of Champions, then i would move HHH to free up Raw and also the main event picture. It will also give guys like MVP, Y2J and others title shots.
What Raw needs is the dominate, heel stable. We have heard the rumors of the new 2nd Generation stable and i am interested on how that will pan out. I do think it will be successful, but what Raw is really lacking is the heel stable. That being said i hope that they put the second generation stable together soon.
I will steal this idea from Lance Storm-
Put all Cruiserweights on ECW, bring back the Title and incorporate the womens division that Smackdown is developing into ECW also.
Thats all i can really think of now in terms of moves being made. I too would also like to see HBK vs. Edge but Shawn cant move to Smackdown because of his religious commitments.

I still have this feeling that there will be no divas title on Smackdown. It will eventually be just a ruse that Vicki Guerro was using to flaunt her authority. Quite frankly, I really don't see the need for a second woman's title any how. Oh and I like how Lance Storm and I think alike.

More on Major Jump From Raw To Smackdown
Written by: Mike Landau - June 20th, 2008
Chris Johnson at wrestlingherald.com reported a couple of weeks back that HHH's name was considered to switch to Smackdown. More recently John Cena's name has come up as well. HHH may or may not move but it's looking likely that John Cena is jumping to Smackdown. I've been told that WWE has created a new World Heavyweight Championship. The kicker is this: the World Heavyweight championship is meant to be a spinner belt so it would indicate that John Cena is jumping to Smackdown.:icon_neut:huh:
Vince McMahon has been wanting to switch things up because of the dip in the ratings so this would fall into the "big shake-up" category and would be an added boost for Smackdown when it moves to MyNetworkTV in the fall.
This made me laugh because i dont think that they will ruin the World Title belt, but also who knows. I think its shit about the new World title belt but it could be right about Cena Moving to Smackdown. who knows

Draft News-- Part 1
Tons Of WWE Draft News: Possible Spoilers (Part 1)
06/22/2008 by Ryan Clark
The WWE Draft takes place tomorrow night on a special 3-hour edition of WWE RAW. WWE has promised to shake things up - here's the latest Draft news. Keep in mind that NONE of this stuff is confirmed:
-- The John Cena to SD! rumors continue to circulate among many backstage. This would be the 'big' shakeup. Keep in mind the Mickie James-John Cena storyline came to an abrupt end and they really want someone big as the main promotion when they move SD! to MyNetwork TV in the fall.
-- Much like previous years, WWE is keeping the draft very secretive, to the point that most all of the talent will find out if they're changing brands as soon as the audience does during the live show.
-- There has been some talk of moving the Women's Title to either ECW or Smackdown but no official decision has been made just yet. Vince feels that both of those brands need something to distinguish them from what RAW offers and the Women's Title just may be the answer to that.
-- JBL wanted to make his in-ring return on SD! several months back and he has Vince McMahon's ear. A move back to SD! for him would not shock me.
-- Brian Gewirtz is a huge fan of Santino with his comedy so don't expect him to leave.

The WWE Draft takes place tomorrow night on a special 3-hour edition of WWE RAW. WWE has promised to shake things up - here's the latest Draft news. Keep in mind that NONE of this stuff is confirmed:
-- Jamie Noble works as a backstage producer/agent on SD! so don't expect to see him move.
-- There could be something to Lance Cade appearing in the main event of RAW last week. There is talk that it could have been a setup to send him over to possibly ECW as a top heel.
-- There were rumblings that Randy Orton was a candidate to move to Smackdown before he broke his collarbone. And now there are rumblings that Batista could join him on RAW in a new Evolution faction that would likely feud with Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
-- Umaga is expected to be traded to SmackDown.
-- As stated on WWE RAW this week, The Undertaker will not be a part of the Draft.
-- Don't expect Triple H to go anywhere other than RAW.
-- Back in 2002, WWE did a live draft for television and a secondary draft with the results posted on the company website. A number of mid-level and lower-level wrestlers had to log on to the WWE site late at night after the draft to find out about their futures. It's expected that WWE will do something similar this year by announcing some of the trades on WWE.com after RAW as well as on ECW and SmackDown! later in the week.
A note about the Batista, Randy Orton vs. HHH and HBK.
So Evolution vs. DX? I personally would rather see Batista and Randy Orton Feud against each other or at least team up to re-form Evolution.
Either situation its still intriguing either way to some extent.

After I went through shit for defending the faggot up and down he goes and does absolutely nothing to entertain since being back (not counting the shock return at the Rumble). His matches have never been real appointment TV but they were serviceable and in some instances good, but the thing that really bugs the shit out of me lately is his awful fucking promos.
He still can be a very valuable asset to the company, I'm just tired of seeing him in his current incarnation.

Whole play by play of the last skit on Raw-
After he gives away the money, a piece of the Raw set falls down and explodes next to Vince, he doesn’t know why it happened but carried on talking, the piece of set under McMahon’s feet then falls away and he falls down with the money to the floor below, this is followed by the HUGE McMahon Dollar Bill collapsing and falling down on top of Vince, there are a few explosions and the wrestlers run to try and get Vince out. EMT ‘s come from the back, put Vince on a stretcher and try to slide him out, he regains consciousness and says “Paul…Paul” which was directed at Triple H, Trips tells him to relax and not to move, the show ends with Vince saying “Paul, I can’t feel my legs”

Huge Backstage RAW News: JR Pissed, Drafts, Mysterio, More
06/23/2008 by Ryan Clark
I can confirm that Rey Mysterio was called over the weekend and told he needed to be at RAW. Mysterio was in Mexico doing promotional work.
For those who missed RAW, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, and Ric Flair all returned.
Chris Jericho's entrance has been changed from 'Save Us' to 'Save Me'.
Prior to RAW, Cryme Tyme beat Deuce & Domino via pinfall in a dark match.
The crowd was very hot at the AT&T Center was sold out (15,183 total).
The announcers had no idea who was being drafted and it took them all by surprise. That came straight from Vince for sure and was kept secret from them all. By the way, that commentary at the beginning was hilarious with Mike Adamle saying absolutely nothing as they were shooting all over him. You could hear the announcers having trouble keeping from laughing.
The Melina injury appears to be legit. We hope to have more later tonight or tomorrow.
Batista was nearly knocked out when him and Edge collided head-to-head. He was obviously busted open the hardway.
Jim Ross was legitimately not happy with his move to SD! as evident by his facial expressions. Michael Cole was more shocked than anything and seemed to feel bad for good ole' J.R. You could also tell Mick was really taken off guard by it as well. :( poor JR
As noted on WrestleZone Radio last Tuesday, it was either Triple H or John Cena going to SD!. Triple H must have agreed to the move because Cena had been the original plan. It looks as if 'Taker is headed to RAW with the ending tonight so that keeps the two off the same brand to avoid issues. That explains why Cena wasn't drafted. More on this on WrestleZone Radio tomorrow.
I love how he totally scrambled with that because he thought for sure that Cena was moving to SD! but he was proved wrong and made to look like an ass. Honestly yes people brought it up hear also but does the events that took place on Raw really mean Taker is coming back, i think that that is the last thing on peoples mind, who knows

I can't believe they actually found 5 guys on the ECW roster who aren't jobbers
As they walked to the ring, they had this look their faces saying "why don't we just head back to the locker room, we all know how this is going to turn out"
I'd initially say that Chris Benoit's ghost was unleashing his vengeance upon the McMahon's.
Complete work...but right at the end Vince called HHH by his real name. Not really something I expected there :icon_conf "whaa"
I say work but something went mildly amiss and Vince broke something
That's what I was thinking too, but they sold it real well too with the way all the wrestlers came over to help.
As for the draft itself, I thought it was pretty good and there were definitely some suprises(CM Punk, the switch of the annoucers, Kane and Batista).
However, I wasn't expecting Matt Hardy to go to ECW and I kind of feel bad for him. How is that the brother that didn't get suspended for 60 days, get the shitty end of the deal. As for ECW itself, WWE just pull the plug already.
I think Smackdown was definitely the winner of the night and it will be interesting to see how things will develop after Sunday.

Lance Storms thoughts on the Draft-
http://www.stormwrestling.com/tvthoughts.html
WWE: RAW June 23, 2008
- There was a lot on RAW tonight that was great and a couple things that did not sit well with me at all.
- The good stuff was the draft. WWE needed a shake up and I thought tonight accommplished that in spades and made The Night of Champions a whole lot more interesting.
- The biggest selling point for the PPV now is, where do all the titles end up? Does Cena win the title to keep it on RAW? Does Batista win the World Title and bring that title back to RAW? It was those two who switch brands with the title last time. Does Kane bring the ECW title to RAW, or does Show win it and bring it to SD? Does Matt Hardy retain the US title and bring it to ECW? So much is up in the air, that this PPV has become a must see.
- As for the trades I think they were fantastic too. Rey to RAW is huge. HHH to SD I asked for and actually got. Edge has a ton of NEW baby face challengers to work with on SD. RAW needs some top heels to work with either Champ Cena or Champ Batista (I assume one of the titles will end up on RAW) however, maybe their will be some on line trades still to come.
- The JR trade shocked me. As far as I'm concerned JR is the man at the desk and an institution on RAW, he will be missed. That being said I will likely make more of an effort to catch SD just to hear his voice calling matches. Thank God it was Cole and not Adamle that moved over to RAW. Any idea what would have happened if the girls match had gone to a finish? That double DQ was lucky (LOL).
- Now on to the things that bothered me. I couldn't have been the only one who noticed Batista and Big Show doing the famous Royal Rumble finish spot Chris Benoit used to win the Royal Rumble. That in itself isn't that bad but they did it on the one year aniversary of the Benoit family tragedy. Unbelievable.
- The other thing that bothered me was the Vince McMahon angle to close the show. As an angle itself I would have been fine with it, but WWE did this angle 8 days after a man really DIED at a TNA PPV from a stage/scaffolding colapsing after the show. This can't be a coincidence can it?

Jim Ross was legitimately not happy with his move to SD! as evident by his facial expressions. Michael Cole was more shocked than anything and seemed to feel bad for good ole' J.R. You could also tell Mick was really taken off guard by it as well.
Wait, how the fuck could you tell, that ol' Palsy face wasn't happy?
I didn't think of this until later, but for WWE to do a "stage accident" angle a few weeks after TNA had a crew member die in a scaffolding accident might have been in poor taste.

Actually it could have been a coincidence. Now that I think of it, I think Vince had this planned out when he started doing the McMahon Millions thing. He would end his little contest with a bang, so the noobs would keep watching. Even if they did it on purpose, Who gives a shit?
Oh and Lance Strom can fuck himself in his dickhole. If your family murdering friend did a spot years ago, then no one else can do it now, just so your feelings don't get hurt. You know what Lance, Fuck you and your feelings. I would have taken it as a tribute to the Benoit those guys knew before this.

JR definitely not pleased about getting drafted... (http://www.jrsbarbq.com/2008/06/24/jr%E2%80%99s-post-draft-thoughts/)
As many of you know, I was “drafted” to Smackdown Monday night in the “random lottery”. Obviously that means I will be leaving Monday Night Raw and my long time partner Jerry Lawler.
I am not happy about this surprise development.
I also contemplated calling it a career Monday night and not going to Houston to tape SD.
After speaking with my wife and thinking on this matter until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, I have decided to do the right thing for the fans who care and the talent who care and begin my new assignment.
It has been explained to me that the WWE’s Smackdown tenure on My Network is a high priority within the corporation. Allegedly, my presence is needed in that effort.
Many are speculating about when I learned of this development…the same time those of you were watching at home. I should have detected something with the demeanor of certain individuals either thru their plastic, poker faces or the perceived smirk that I thought I might have seen on some of their faces during the day.
As far as going to Connecticut each week to do Smackdown post production, that’s not going to happen. Either Mick Foley can handle it or the WWE can install a DSL line in my home to facilitate the work.
I will miss working with the King as the wrestling biz is one in which a guy can count his legit friends on one hand…even after a 30 plus year career. King has been like a brother to me….albeit an “older brother”. ;) We will remain friends no matter that our team has been corporately imploded.
I believe that I have been strongly loyal to the WWE no matter the hands that were dealt to me over the years. In my tenure there I have earned a good living of which I am thankful. I will fulfill my commitments that I have made because unlike many in the business, my word is still my bond.
I can’t predict how long my Smackdown tenure will be, but I can promise that no matter how long or short it is that I will do my utmost best while sitting at ringside. I am not the kind of man who will “phone in” a damn thing.
My sincere thanks to all of you who have supported me on RAW over the years. I hope I was able to provide you a memory or two. Hopefully, we can create new memories now on Smackdown.
Based on my professional experiences, I look at each broadcast as potentially my last, which helps keep me motivated. So with that said we begin another chapter in my crazy life in the unpredictable world of ‘rasslin.
I still plan on attending RAW in my home market of OKC next Monday and I hear that tickets are still available. Any one have any extras?

Thats bullshit to just pull the rug out from under him like that. JR has been more then loyal to the company over the years and they could have at least told him or checked with him. So it got a interesting reaction. A 30 second reaction lead to a disgruntled employee. I dont see what the point of doing that is other then if it was some kind of angle in the future where JR is going to lead some kind of 'revolt' and they are building up some kind of heat among the fans for it.
If theyre going to make some kind of switch for the sake of promoting the show, switch both of them. Im sure its going to be nice having Mick and JR together but its just not the same.

yea that was a total shit move by Vince, and im glad that JR is "fighting" back, all of his comments are 100% justified. JR has done no wrong he has been as loyal as they come in that company. Just a real shit move and its disgusting really. It would be great if they went with this and JR lead a fight against Raw or something or developed it into a bit or something . But who knows. I was and am upset by that pick also JR doesnt deserve that at all. It is especially disgusting because Raw is in Oklahoma City next week, JR's Home town. JR has done nothing wrong, he always accepts any programs that come his way and all of that shit and he does not deserve that at all.
Stick it to Vince, JR
Pictures of the Stage collapse, i love how HBK is out their and you can also hear his voice during that whole thing, so much for the whole selling the eye thing haha.

I understand why people are upset that they did a collapsing set thing, when someone in TNA just died because of that. But really its just a stupid thing that Vince did. yes they could have picked something different to do but thats what they picked and they didnt have any intention of disrespecting or deliberately doing that so people would think of TNA. I dont really know how to put it but i think i go the point across their haha.
When they are doing introducing the
