No More Ie For Me!!!!

I finally got around to downloading MOZILLA's FIREBIRD and the E-mail client THUNDERBIRD. So far I love the browser, the jury is out on the e-mail. I know it's better than OUTLOOK, I just have to find a spam blocker that works for it. So far eveything I have found only blocks SPAM from Outlook or Outlook express. :(


Now if I can find an office suite to replace MS office, I will be happier then a pig in S. :)

Yeah, I ditched IE a while ago on both platforms. You probably recall me ranting about it a few times.

OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org) has a really great productivity suite. It's free, runs on just about every platform and it's standards-based. I'm actually thinking about contributing to the MacOS X port. Gobe Productive (http://www.gobe.com) is supposed to be really nice, but it's not free and there's word of Apple acquiring the company. I remember TSS talking about ThinkFree Office (http://www.thinkfree.com/) a while back and gave it a glowing review. It's not free, but it's cheap.

I just finally kicked myself in the ass and downloaded it. I reinstalled my software yesterday and figured it was time. Outlook not working when I had an IE window open did it for me. No virus not spyware just Outlook deciding to work like crap.
