Both of them have made movies I love and movies I really hate. The only Stallone films I like are Rocky 1-4 hated 5, thought Rocky Balboa was good. Liked the Rambo movies have not seen the new one. But I liked Schwarzenegger's movies better overall. I know Schwarzenegger made many crappy movies (Twins, Junior) but Stallone has done some god awful movies Rhinestone, Stop or my mom will shoot, Oscar, Driven.

While Stallone has the best couple movies between the two, Arnold just has more good movies overall and that is why I voted for him.

Arnie all the way... and if for nothing more than the fact that he knew how hacky those movies were and went with it anyway.

But if you compare the Movie Comebacks in recent Years of say Rocky Balboa or the Terminator still its a toughie. And ya got to remember Stallone wrote most of his Hit movies. But he did do Judge Dredd, Stop or my Mom Will Shoot and Over the Top. oh jeeze i guess Arnie but fuck it this was tough for me.

Well. After watching "Rambo". I say, Stallone.
Although, ol' A.S. was my "hero" growing up; Sly has continued a remarkable comeback.
Arnold is the Gov. of a fruity state.
But DAMMIT.................................."Predator" is one of my favorite movies of all time.
This is difficult.
Stallone by 2 points.
Gotta vote for my governer.
Predator, Termenator 1 and 2, Total Recall, The Sixth Day, True Lies
More than enough entertainment to excuse any of his weaker movies.

Ahnuld and it's not even close. At least he had an excuse to speak like half a retard. T2 > all Stallones and Ahnuld also had the volume of quality. The HGH comeback notwithstanding, Sly is impressive for writing some of his shit but it's not like he wrote Shakespeare. Rocky HGH was shit writing. Somebody who is supposed to be smart enough to write all these movies should be smart enough to stay out of some of them. Know your limitations. That crooked mouthed yell he always did annoys the shit out of me.

While they both made their share of shit movies, Arnold shit always had a quaintness to them that, for the most part, you can tell he was enjoying himself. Stallone shit, while fun to MST, made your asshole hurt.

Schwarzenegger.
Except for a couple of exceptions unless Stallone was fighting in a ring, I wasn’t interested. Also as Liddy mentioned Stallone's bad movies were complete garbage while I could sit through pretty much any of Schwarzenegger's bad ones.

Stallone had the best film out of both of them (Rocky), but overall Arnold had a better and longer run of quality action films. Stallone did try to branch out as an actor and do other roles with varying success while Arnold was either action hero or comedic action hero.

Schwarzengger. I was never a Stallone fan and pretty much hated the Rocky movies.
Nothing wrong with taking the HGH stuff if you know what you're doing. Sure, it might lower your tadpole count, but at his age, that's just not an issue for Stallone anymore.
Arnold had the better roles, and his presence made them that much better, no doubt, but Stallone at least took the risks involved in creating his own material to work from.

Isn't Stalone more of Producer than Arnold? Isn't Arnold basicly just an actor? wouldn't this be like comparing Raymond Burr to a Orson Wells? One was an actor, the other made movies. As actors, they seemed pretty much the same. Pudgy, overweight, and washed up.

Stallone, because of the two he actually jumped out of the "Hero" genre and did a legit film in Copland. He played the complete opposite of his previous roles and did it phenomenally.
Also I paid to see Last Action Hero and haven't forgiven AS since.
