I love Curb, Seinfeld was funny at times. I might actually be on the "Seinfeld was the fourth funniest person on the show" bandwagon with Gallagher too.

Thought Jerry was way overrated, not funny at all, but I loved the show itself. Curb, eh. Never really understood the shows popularity.

i'm split - but i guess that the seinfeld show really helped alter the mainstream's sense of humor to something more interesting than what used to be, so i'd have to go with that.

that said, i enjoy larry david more than jerry.

Curb was funny until I guess the start of the 4th season. From there it just became Larry David being an asshole about everything. The last 2 seasons for me have been unbearable. I totally gave up 2 episodes into last season.
I did see the Bat Mitzpha finale and the part where he gives the speech about the gerbil in his ass had me laughing my ass off. My friends father wanted to start his speech at my friends wedding with that but scratched the idea last min. Personally, I thought it would have been the best wedding speech ever.

The problem with Seinfeld is that its on so much and Ive seen everyone one about 10 times that I just cant stand it anymore. Occasionally Ill come across one that I havent seen in a while but for the most part its just played out.

I agree with Perch, Seinfeld is great, but I may have seen the entire series, at least 10 times. But, overall I LOVE Curb and like it much more than Seinfeld, it just has many more overall laugh out loud moments and lines.

i like them both, but i have to go with curb b/c of content. The mere fact that it aired on HBO and permitted language/nudity makes it a better, more real show to me. That, coupled with the fact that the majority of the dialogue on curb is improved from a 'train of thought' makes it all the more impressive.

I loved Seinfeld as a kid, but it got real old fast. Looking back, I never really understood it's popularlity.

Curb, however, I laugh my ass off. My friend says that you have to go back and watch all of the Seinfeld episodes to understand Curb. I beg to differ though.

It's a real toss up. Larry is so much more of an asshole then anyone on Seinfeld but there's something classic about Seinfeld. It's really a toss up.

Seinfeld. I have seen almost every episode from season 2 and on between 5-10 times. Love it.
