Well, there isn't much else on these days. Anyone catch the first episode? I guess it is supposed to be like that "Masters of Horror" thing, but on network television... :icon_neut

I watched part of the first episode, and got kind of bored. Is it worth finishing?

Sortof. It was ok. They promise more gore/nudity on the dvds but whatever man, noones going to buy those. Considering the first director had never done horror was baffling to me. This week is the Machinists director so it has some promise, but its star is Eric Roberts.. arg.
Bring back Master of Horror...... Mick Garris you suck

i love horror, and i did hear about this. but when i heard it was on network television, i lost hope of the show actually being scary. granted, a movie doesn't have to be rated R to be scary, it's just that "network TV horror" just doesn't ring well with me. network TV is too safe and conservative, something totally contradictory with the very nature of horror.

Perhaps because the very nature of network tv is a cliffhanger to make you stay through the commercial... which in horror just does nothing but kill any suspense.

It was ok, and better than another stupid reality show or re runs.
God forbid I pick up a book or something.

It was ok, and better than another stupid reality show or re runs. Or ... game show?
NBC's summertime game show "Celebrity Family Feud" has found its celebrities.
The network's prime-time version of the long-running game show will hit the airwaves Tuesday, July 1, with the likes of Kathie Lee Gifford, Vivica A. Fox, Bill Engvall, Ice T and Wayne Newton (and their relatives) scheduled to compete. The winning family in each game will earn a $50,000 prize for the charity of its choice.
"Today Show" co-host Al Roker will serve as host of the show.
In some cases, the definition of "family" gets stretched a little bit. Comedian Margaret Cho, for instance, will have two of her assistants play the game alongside her and her parents. There will also be a pair of all-NBC games, with cast members from "My Name Is Earl" squaring off in one game ("The Hickeys" vs. "The Camden County All-Stars") and cast members from "The Office" facing several "American Gladiators" in the other.
The other celebs taking part in the show are Engvall's "Blue Collar Comedy" cohort Larry the Cable Guy, comedian Mo'Nique, the Teutuls of "American Chopper" fame, Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry, Corbin Bernsen, Joan and Melissa Rivers, Raven-Symone, Kim Kardashian, Deion Sanders, Tiki Barber, Ed McMahon, Vincent Pastore, the cast of "The Girls Next Door" and Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman.

Well all the gore, violence and nudity in the world couldn't save Masters Of Horror from sucking ass, but I imagine this show would be just as bad minus all that good stuff.
Bring back Tales From The Crypt.

Funny thing, is I have the first episode Dvred and was waiting to see if there was going to be any reaction to it on Wackbag. Judging from what I read, looks like I'm going to erase it.

I fucking LOVED that show too, but it was definitely 'done' long before it got canceled.
Yeah, there were many more tales to tell, but all the good ones had been done.

For some reason, as hacky as the Cryptkeeper's puns were, they always made me laugh.

The final shot of that episode freaked me out for quite awhile.
EDIT: I'm going to start, or resurrect, a thread.
