See, this is what I mean. Offer the tunes in SHN of FLAC (loss-less audio) and people will purchase!!!

Something the article didn't mention is that along with the tunes, you can download the artwork for a jewel case, and the artwork for a CD cover. It's a very well run operation! And you can't beat the price.

I downloaded their NYE show back in January/February, and although it took a bit of time, it was well worth it.

PHISH BABY!!!! YEAH!!

The Dead are doing a similar project. $22.00 and you can get a whole show, and download CD artwork, etc. They're even selling them in the parking lot after the show, which has always been the goal..going back to the "80's when they started the project. I think you'll see a lot more bands doing this. You just can't download them, yet.

Phish Rules! They've been offering fans free shit from the start, they make there money touring they don't need (and usually don't get) much cd sales because like I said they have always offered free online stuff, and before the internet took off fans would record shows and sell them on tape or cd, I have a fairly large collection, I buy from a guy who runs a stand at the Mashpee flee market which is now shut down, gonna just find shit online now.

BTW what was the deal with there recent main concert's does anybody know if they happened and what the attendance was?

Did you read the article?

Of course it happened. Not sure the attendance.

But the whole show, 10 CD's in all, are available for like $30.

I think I'll be adding that to my collection!

They wen't to college in Burlington, Trey is from New Jersey and I think the only person from Burlington VT is Fishman.

Actually, Fishman is from upstate NY. His dad was a guy I work with's orthodontist. All thing considered the band is still from Burlington. Trey, Fishman, and Page all still live up there and have since going to college. The recently arrested Mike Gordon lives in NYC and has a home in Jericho, VT I believe, either that or Underhill. Both just outside of Burlington.

Trey's brother in law owns the club next door to my old office up there. Actually, I almost ran over Page once when he stepped out from betwen 2 cars there as I was leaving work, whoops. I think he was happy to here his keys blaring from my car though.

Yeah, taking a 9 year old girl to a secluded boat house for "artistic photos" is not a great idea, nor normal one. When she is the step-daughter of the head of the local Hell's Angels it just gets worse.
