It was on Spike until very recently wasnt it? Regardless, I'll watch any episode anytime I see it on. Even though I own all 7 seasons of TNG and DS9.

Yes it was. When the full series DVD box set came out Spike stopped airing episodes. They still show DS9 and Voyager, though. Star Trek DVD's are so over priced I'm just stuck with whatever episodes are on TV that week.

That explains why my ReplayTV hasn't recorded a new episode since November.

Keep an eye out for them at the used DVD places. I've spotted seasons as low as 39.99 which makes me wanna vomit b/c I paid 99.99 for each season when they came out.

Thats why I've never gotten around to buying the DS9 series, which imo is the best series. Garak is my favorite TV character on any show, Andrew Robinson rules.

While I watch this regularly, I'm bugged that they interrupted ENT during the Xindi and Expanse story arch. I loved that season and would have liked to seen it again.

I would tend to agree. I think a lot of people who don't like DS9 gave up on it too quick. I'd rate the last 3 seasons of DS9 as some of the best seasons on TV ever.

For my money it goes:
DS9 > TNG > TOS > ENT > VOY
That being said, the drop off from Enterprise to Voyager on that list is quite significant. I just hope some day there'll be another show to add to that list.

I completely agree, I can watch seige at AR-558 or in the pale moonlight 3 times in a row and continue to be entertained. By far my favorite drama series to ever be on TV and might be my favorite TV series ever.
Even if your not a trek fan I can't see how anyone wouldn't like season 5-7, just all out war.

I've wanted to see the series enterprise since I've heard its not bad. As far as VOY goes I've seen maybe 5 episodes and I quit. Its to dam goofy to hold my interests.

Enterprise is great. They're really all great except for Voyager. Voyager had the perfect storyline to work with to have long story arcs, but they never did that. Every episode would just end with them heading home again. They also used way too much techno-babble to explain solutions to the problems they faced. Just not a good series at all.

I don't mind techno-babble but if the babble becomes a crutch to solve every and any situation it becomes predictable and tiresome. Thats why I love DS9, there wasn't alot of babble of any sort and even when they had the opportunity to do alot of it they would throw in a twist. Like one of my favorites is when O Brien gets memory implants to think he spent 20 years in prison. They didn't magic away his memories with science, he had to work them out himself and in the end he has to be talked out of committing suicide after he has guilt about killing his cellmate. There really are alot of episodes that if you didn't say it was star trek you could be describing a normal modern TV show. It wasn't everythings going to be alright, it dealt with genocide, war, suicide, rules of engagement in war, a holocaust for the Bajorans, ****, slavery, lesbians (awesome) and it didn't paint people in shades of black and white like other series. Everyone was a shade of grey, second in command Kira was a former terrorist, the tailor Garak a former assassin, the bar tender smuggler and illegal trader, the chief of security sent 4 innocent people to death, Gul Dukat is war criminal who ***** the bajorans and had children with them.
The show just fucking rules.
