New David Fincher movie with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, "Tells the story of Benjamin Button, a man who starts aging backwards with bizarre consequences" (like a person from Ork).
An inernational trailer was on youtube in Spanish but now it's available in Quicktime in the only language that matters: English

Man that title gets me angry for some reason, i'm not sure why.
Sounds interesting. I wonder if Cate Blanchett's character will get arrested for being a pedophile towards the end of the movie.

I saw the trailer before Indy and it looked great. I'm on board for ANY Fincher movie though.
The beginning of the trailer where he's an old-man-yet-a-kid always creeps me out.
The film looks utterly bizarre but could be epic. I smell Oscars, gi gi gi!

Yea nice of a studio to release a Fincher movie in award season. Zodiac was a top 3 movie last year and the fuckers buried it in Feb so none of the awards paid any attention to it.

That's not a coincidence. It's the same writer.

Obviously, I was talking about screenwriter Eric Roth. But there seems to be some question about whether the film is actually based on the Fitzgerald short story, either. It seems to be closer to another backwards-aging novel writen only a few years ago.

Saw it the other day with my friend (her idea, not mine). It was okay at times, but holy shit, it just seemed to go on forever. I'm not gonna be the one to spoil the ending if anyone here wants to see it, but it's about a guy who's born old and ages in reverse. What do you think happens?

Gotta disagree bro. I saw it tonight and I thought it was amazing. There's not a single portion I would cut out. Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett were award caliber performances. The supporting cast was very strong as well. Fincher's creation of this world really had me tuned in the whole time. The effects to alter aging was unbelievably good. (Much better use than in X3).
This is the only Best Picture nominee I've seen so far, but I was so moved emotionally by this movie that I will be furious if it doesn't win.

I really liked this. I didn't think it was great (a bit over long) but thought it was really good. Pitt, Blanchett and Tilda were terrific.
I don't get why O+A had such a hard time understanding the concept. And I don't get why people are so angry about the Katrina framing device.

I saw it as well. I thought it was excellent. Because he was constantly aging it felt like the movie was moving towards something so it didn't feel that long to me. The effects/makeup were surprisingly well done.
