They discussed it on Thursday, let's discuss it here.

Personally, I'm a fan of Board Games though I rarely get to play them since people tend not to get excited over the promise of playing Risk. But let me pose it. What board games do you like?

I tend to like Monopoly, Risk, Battleship, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit. I also tend to use the Free Parking Space as a random money throw in spot. And I don't think anyone ever played Mouse Trap, just set up the trap and watched it go.

Of the public domain games, chess rules all. But most people tend not to want to play it. If you bring it up, you seem like you know chess even if you don't really which makes other amateurs not want to play. Backgammon is also fun. Never cared for checkers. Never played Chinese checkers either.

And I like jigsaw puzzles. I find them a fun, calming timewaster.

ESD was spot on when he mentioned Othello as a great board game. I hadn't even thought of that game much less played it since middle school until it was mentioned on the show.

Fucking loved Srat-O-Matic growing up, before there were cool video games. Now, the only board game I could play is Trivial Pursuit without feeling silly.

couple of weeks back, the wife and I were at a Swingers party, played an interesting combination Strip Trivial Pursuit/Spin the Bottle. The game lasted all of 35 minutes before turning into a complete orgy.

I loved Risk and Othello as a kid..I was barred from playing Trivial Pursuit, Big Boggle, and Scrabble in the Lifeguard league at the Jersey shore..I kept winning too fast and pissed off the other players..On a side note, if you have a psp..they have released a Board Games collection for it..haven't tried it yet.

Big fan of Risk, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit and Chess. And if something like Warhammer counts I used to play that I really enjoyed it.

God, I love this state.

Played lots of Trivial Pursuit. I have so much useless information it's awesome. Anyone notice in the 60s version of TP, that at least one answer on every card, no matter what category, is the Beatles or someone in the Beatles. Great game.
