Fuck the minisodes.

I saw a Rescue Me with "NEW" on my DVR and got all giddy, then I found out it was just a 5 minute thing.

Can't wait for the new season.

Thanks a ton for posting that. I missed the premiere the other night. I put the Phils game on and then at 10 for got to flip over. Didn't realize it for 40 minutes. I need the little Rescue Me fixes until we get the new full season. Goddamn writers strike.

I read an interview with Leary where he said FX will probably show all of the minisodes as one long episode after theyve all aired. Ill probably watch it then rather than in 5 min. intervals.

Yea, Fox's arc could potentially be very interesting, assuming the storyline doesn take a ludicrous turn like so many other plot lines have with this show in the past.

I like the crazy drama of the storyline. Sheila used to annoy the shit out of me, then I realized that this chick is just a really good actress to have me so pissed off at the character. That made me enjoy her a little more.

I like the crazy drama too. I didn't feel like the show dipped into a low spot at any point; the writing's still solid, even if it isn't focusing on the fires as much.

I agree, Tommy banging a different chick every week was just plain ridiculous, but the inconsistencies with the characters are what really get to me, specifically Janet. She goes from being completely despondent over the son's death then is banging Johnny out of nowhere, then goes from what was assumed to be post pardom over the new baby to being completely fine out of the blue, with a new job and a new boyfriend. And, of course, lets not forget the whole '****' scene from a few seasons ago...

Actually your wrong, the writers strike forced a longer delay for the new season, rather than be assholes like CBS and just air reruns the crew filmed snippets for the diehards to feast on until March 09.
