It was only like $20 at a computer show, 1/2 of what that Antec costs. It works great. It can also plug into your PS/2 port as well as USB. That is how I have mine connected.

So is this is better than the Road Tools, Podium Pad? Well, unlike the CoolPad or PodiumPad, this actually uses fans to keep the notebook cool. I have a Road Tools CoolPad and it's done its job. But the Antec Notebook Cooler can do it a lot better.
