Barack apparently removed all criticism of the Surge from his website. (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2008/07/14/2008-07-14_barack_obama_purges_web_site_critique_of.html)
You know, the Surge, that thing which he voted against and swore would be an utter failure, which has since gone on to become such a remarkable success that quibbling over when to bring the troops home won't be much of an argument anymore as we'll likely be ready to pull the majority of our troops out of the area in a couple years anyway.
You know, I honestly believe at this point that Obama is just that arrogant that he likely didn't think anyone would notice.

Hopefully folks like Zona's pal Hannity will keep this from getting buried in the media.

He's still half black (and not half white, because nobody, not once ever, considers <theyself> half white, apparently.) That, by itself, is more than enough to make Zona vote for him, el oh el

Wow, I actually agree with you on the first part...talk about an unwinnable war, that be politics. What I don't understand is that, you knowing this, you are voting for the latest "car salesman". You're a particpant in the same bullshit. Voting Democrat doesn't make it more palatable. It kinda makes it worse.

The Surge WAS a failure. It was just a bad mountain dew rip off.

Yea...maybe they need to drop their shitty policies and become progressive on the issues rather than being "Cocksuckers for Failure".

I know you're having a little bitch fit because a Democrat is being criticized here (although, yes, sure, ALLEGEDLY, you're not voting for Obama), but in this situation, it could not be any more clear.
Barack voted against the Surge, and said repeatedly it would be a failure. A couple years in the future, Obama's proven to be completely and utterly WRONG about that, and as McCain aptly pointed out, instead of admitting he was wrong (which no doubt would piss off the anti-war folks even more), he chose to remove all evidence of his mistake from his website. Is it any question at this point why people are beginning to believe that he'll cravenly say anything / adopt any position in order to get votes?

See where I was getting at with that is the continuous threads started and posts created stating that anything that is a total and utter failure in this country is at the hands of the Democrats and that Republicans have never failed at their venture to make government the entity that it is.
Again, in my protest against the troops being in Iraq, no one would have to vote for a surge, spending, etc if we would just get the fuck out of there. But you know, it's the Democrats' fault if we fail in Iraq. And Iraq couldn't possibly be a reason for our shithole dollar.
