The BTTF Edition of "Secret Show" gave me an idea for a thread. . . What movies would be good to do the same thing with?
Me thinks "Caddyshack" would be the next logical candidate or "The Shining". What say ye???

Absolutely

Don't really care what it is, as long as they lock Sam out of the studio.
But if that happens I won't know if things currently happening will give me any clues as to what might happen in the future...
I don't think Caddyshack, Anthony can probably do a one man performance better than everyone commenting.
I'm thinking along the 'something they can mock' line as well, so maybe something like Star Wars.

Make it three people on this board who have seen it. I own it and love it. The best would be to get the boys not to know wtf it's about and think it's some dopey romance movie for the first half and then it falls apart into utter madness. "Tik! Tik! Tik!" Creeps me out thinking of her saying that as she saws his legs off with razor wire and puts a needle in his eye. I love Takashi Miike movies. Ichi the killer rules. Anything Sam hates and refuses to be a part of.
I'm sure that with the right movie and right set of people Sam can be alright, he just didn't fit in at all last night and just ruined a bit of the fun that people like Than, Ant, Danny, Travis, and Dru were providing.
It might be a little of that "foreshadowing" but Sam sucked.

what about the movie where Hulk Hogan was supposed to be a robot and he went to live with this family, and he went food shopping one day, and he squeezed a mellon in some old lady's face? I cn't remember the name of that movie. He came from some other planet and he was supposed to be a robot or something, and it was just a weird movie.
Super Mario Bros. would be a good movie to do. Koopa wasn't even a turtle in that movie, he was a human, and Yoshi looked really weird. Captian Lou played a much better Mario than the guy who played Mario in the movie.

No, not as good as Mr. Nanny (fuck that had David Johansen from the New York Dolls with a tin dome over his expose brain probably saw that movie a thousand times as a kid I even made my mother drag me and two friends to see it when I was real young. My poor mom) but definitely better than the shitastic 3 Ninjas: High Noon on Mega Mountain with Loni Anderson as the villian. Yeesh.

It has to be something that's been referred by the show a lot, that people are familar with in general, very rewatchable and has a high goof factor. BTTF was perfect.
My nominee: Top Gun (disclaimer I've only seen it completely once.)
If you slightly better movies that the show mentioned a lot. I'd say: Fargo and This Boy's Life. I just rewatched TBL on Mojo HD and that Dwight is hilarious, but the movie is too serious, long and a lot of people won't be familar with it. The same with Fargo.
The easy choice to continue the theme would be BTTF 2.

I think it should be something with a high mockability or discussion factor and be somewhat simple and fun. Something like ACO or American Psycho are too good and too "deep."

John Waters' "Pink Flamingos" would be wonderful watch, but I doubt many people would have a copy at home to "play along".

Full Metal Jacket would be great- as long as it's just the first half.

As mentioned on the show, Pee Wee's Big Adventure would be an excellent choice.
only if they got Fez Marie Watley to be apart of it. He's a big fan ya know.

Or Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, which is where he got his dietary plan.
Can't believe no one's seriously suggested this yet. Perfect movie for the SNV thing - great mix of creepy, campy, one-liners, and ties into the show nicely.
