I'm thinking about the Jetta TDI wagon when it comes out. It suppose to get 50+ MPG. The last VW I was in was my dad's 64 bug when I was a kid, so I have no idea if VW good cars or shit. I also never owned a vehicle with less then 8 cylinders and RWD. I'm cheap and keep my cars a long time my current car is 93 dodge Dakota with 170k miles that I bought new in 92. I also was thinking of getting a CTS. I dont want to get some thing that is going to be a piece of shit in 5 year.

I have a 06 TDI beetle and have had no probs. it gets great mileage if I keep my foot out of it. the new ones are supposed to be even better. I think there is a waiting list for the 09's as they didn't come out in 08 like they were to.
