Dammit, I hate to agree with Mr. Comprehension here, but sex can be addicting. The chemicals needed for sexual gratification are just as potent as the chemicals needed for gambling, drugs, alcoholism, etc.

However, 12-step programs are horseshit and don't give any true statistics on their success rate because they simply cannot say their program is working. You have just as much of a chance of getting over your addiction on your own as you do going through a bullshit religious help group.

I'm Irish so I know what AA is. I'm just saying that you would benefit from therapy with sex problems better than twelve steps since most people who attend these groups know nothing about sexuality. And the twelve steps does nothing to help that.
