Of course.
But John Leibowitz has no problem with Howard Dean saying that anyone who questioned Barack Obama's pastor was a racist, or when Howard Dean called the GOP "The white oh hahahah I mean Republican party".
I have zero use for John Stewart. And I'm sure John Stewart had no problem with Dick Morris when he was getting Clinton elected twice.

I just feel bad that John Stewart is reduced to being the warm up act for Steven Colbert.

Both of those shows are useless.
I miss the days of Craig Kilborn hosting TDS....when it wasn't constant political bashing and was actually funny.

The original Daily Show was hysterical.

Don't you wish that Jon Stewart had the courage to do similar videos with people on the other side?
Like the republican talking heads are the only ones who talk out of their ass. It's really not hard to do these things when you have a full staff logging every minute of the Fox News talk shows. And you could do exactly the same thing with Olbermann talking about free speech and then cut to him saying how he demanded Imus be fired.
I really don't like O'Reilly but I have caught him calling out republicans, maybe Stewart does call out people on his side, but those videos just don't go as viral as this one has, if he does then I'll admit I'm wrong.

The problem with Jon Stewart is that he takes himself too seriously. He was a decent stand-up and was ok in the early days when he took over the Daily Show, but now he thinks he is a serious political commentator, and all the smirking in the world can't change or hide the fact that he truly believes this. And like everyone else who leaves a cushioned, comfortable life far removed from the world the rest of us reside in, he is a pantywaist liberal. I haven't watched in years.

That's because you're a filthy racist.
As is anyone who doesn't vote for Barack.

Hey, to viewers, does Stewart still say "Uh, uh" at least once per sentence, or has he gotten past that?

Man. Why can't anyone ever address the issue at hand instead of being whiny babies when their side is made to look bad? "waaaah John Stewart is an unfunny poopyhead. He dun made us look stupidbad." Just shut the fuck up and enjoy some humor. I'm sure there will be plenty of shit that makes the Dems look like jerkoffs to laugh at over the next few months.

Jon Stewart had Slayer on his MTV show. Now he thinks he's the news. Fuck him and fuck anyone who uses him as their source of news.

I saw that clip on the show and thought the same thing. Jon Stewart has been annoying me w/this for a while b/c I don't see him doing the same to the left and I watch both shows fairly regularly. Colbert's show is also slanted, but I think is more subtle.
Watch Stewart when he interviews a celeb or Democrat. His questions are either funny or pandering in nature. He breaks out the serious questions for conservative's and really holds their feet to the fire.
I tune into the show expecting it to be slanted. Anyone watching for balanced coverage is retarded. However, I think the show would be funnier if they were more consistent in pointing out hypocrisy. However, seeing that ass "Papa Bear" O'Reilly get totally spun was fucking hilarious.

Like when he made fun of Clinton the last couple years of his term?
It has nothing to do with what side he's making fun of, it just hasn't been funny.

Stewart should be grateful to Palin for making it acceptable to do Obama jokes. She got more laughs from hers than Stewart got from his.

I've been watching the O'Reilly/Obama interview over the last few nights and it really made me appreciate how great Colbert's parody is.
I'm at work and they block CC and You Tube, but the best clip during the conventions has to be Samantha Bee trying to get the hayseeds in St. Paul to say the word "choice"
