Oil closes @ $103.40, still dropping after hours, Brent N. Sea crude under $100.00

OPEC and analyts call for oil to hold steady between $80 and $95 a barrel, plans to cut production but maintain output quota through year end and next year. So much for the blame OPEC crowd. Oil should hit the $85 mark by end of Oct., most speculators are bailing out of the market.

I still won't get that warm and fuzzy feeling until oil is at or near $60 a barrel. The first time it got near $85 a barrel it dropped to $58 and everyone cheered. Then it started it's relentless climb up to $147 a barrel.

Any day now the Iranians should be screaming about Isreal needing to be wiped off the map and the speculators will come running back in and oil will be up near $120.

OPEC just shot itself in the foot. Raising oil prices now will only help keep the cuts in demand and the research into alternative oil sources and alternative fuels going strong.
