Marvel Vs Capcom 2 coming to Xbox 360 and PS3

A new rating on the ESRB website, which was located (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=13199494&posted=1#post13199494) by the snooping people of NeoGAF, has found out that Marvel Vs Capcom 2 will be making its way to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in the future. The site states the game was rated Teen because it contains “Blood, Suggestive Themes, and Violence.”

After that the site remarks that game will be available on “PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3”

If you are a fan, then you will probably already know that the game has been available on Xbox, and PlayStation since 2002, but the fact that it is coming to both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 is very exciting, as it means the game should be getting a new HD lick of paint.

No news if it is a disc based release, or a download via XBLA and PSN as of yet. A download is probably the most likely though.

Its not going to be downloadable if it is released for ps2 as well. And how will it be available for the Xbox when Microsoft doesnt support that system anymore?

I think a lot of these articles just try to get info out first without actually knowing what they are talking about.


How can it be disk based? No way in hell im paying disk price for a game like this. $40? It shouldnt be more than Super Steet fighter 2 hd remix, which is probably going to be $10-$15 (or however many points that is on XBOX live).

Also, if it going to get the "HD treatment" Dont hold your breath. Its been an eternity since the news leaked about SSF2HDR, and we still have no idea when it is coming out...


Not to mention Fuck Capcom. Then did a nice job nickel and diming people with Megam Man 9 with all the add on packs coming. They should have just included it all to begin with and charged $20 for it instead of releasing all this bonus stuff 2 weeks later.

I have it on the dreamcast. Thats good enough for me unless the new one gets online play.

Fuck yes, I owned this on Dreamcast and PS2 at one point, but sold both copies of the game over the years. Probably one of the bigger mistakes I've made in relation to gaming. I could've gotten so much more goddamn money for them then what I did.

This time I won't sell the damn game.

MvC2 rawks. I played the shite out of that game. I hope the rumors are true: I'd buy it of off XBLA.

It would be insane if they gave it an HD make over, but I doubt it.

It's taking forever for them to release SF2 HD let alone remake 50 characters. Or are they just waiting to use that as a marketing tool before the release of SF4? I don't know.
