If you haven't seen it yet, check out Fatal1ty's Top-ten FPS games for PC (http://www.pwnordie.com/videos/6f8e2be51c). The pro gamer runs through his thoughts on the best PC games of all time, and he discusses what made them great. In what follows below, I provide some paraphrases of what he says in the video.

Anyway, here's his list:

#10: Halo PC (released 2001). Fatal1ty says that, as a pro gamer with a mouse and a keyboard, it's pretty easy for him to hit every shot.

#9: Duke Nukem (1996). Fatal1ty has fond memories of the game, including blowing up his friend, who was in a room full of pipe bombs.

#8: Wolfenstein 3-D (1993). It was the first game Fatal1ty played. Enjoys the swearing in German.

#7: Unreal: Tournament 2003 (2003) He especially enjoys onslaught team mode.

#6: Doom 3 (2004). Fatal1ty won $25,000 and didn't even know initially that he was playing for money.

#5: Doom 2 (1994). Fatal1ty loves the double-barrell shotgun.

#4: Counter-Strike (2003). Fatal1ty loves to play this game to relax.

#3: Quake (1996). Fatal1ty loves the fact that you can play with 12 people at a time. This game produced his first big tournament win.

#2: Painkiller (2004). He says that this is a little-known game, but it has the total package challenge for a FPS and that sound cues, in particular, were very important in locating his opponent.

#1: Quake 3 (1999). This game is responsible for his financial success, he was undefeated in team play for 2 years.

Half Life has to be within the top 5 with Half Life 2. Painkiller at number 2? Hell, that isn't even number 30.
I didn't even think Fear was that great, but it was better than Painkiller.

Where is Half-Life (1) or Deus Ex? How about drop that dud, Doom 3 to include a classic? And I don't understand why Duke Nukem is in the top ten. Bad list.
