It seems that the pages lag..or get stuck mid load after loading this

http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/9961/wackbagloadqm2.jpg

and the posted messages do not load for like 20 seconds...it seems to happen both at work and at home. Does the page load the template first and then populate it with the posts? Does this hang for anyone else? I use to scroll the page immediately but now you have to wait for the whole thing to load before you can start to scroll scroll scroll...

this hangup is getting to be a PITA, seem to range from 5 or 6 sec. to as long as 50 sec. for pages to load.

<<Firmly entrenched in the "not liking any upgrade made in the last few weeks" column>>

On another note... am I the only one who keeps getting a broken image for the multiple page thread graphic? It's something I've become used to, not so much a recent thing.

Don't know about the timeouts, but the doggie is just there during backups
that are now done twice daily. Don't want to end up in a time warp like some
others have in the past. ;)

The board load up just fine for me.... always...

I have signatures turned off, so maybe some people who are having slow load-times can try turning sigs off for a bit and let me know if that helps.

I'm currently having issues with IE freezing during page loads. So far, it only seems to happen on Wackbag.

Anyone else having this kind of issue?

It was happening with IE7, and has continued since I gave IE8 RC-1 a try. Also, I'm experiencing it on both my Vista desktop and my XP Pro SP3 laptop...
