OK, I'm not a big fan, in fact, have only really listened to them when I was reviewing CD's, but fuck how was he on the show and they had no fucking clue who he was? Guys on the staff should know a bit about them, friggin' Kirk Hammett was in the original lineup.

You have to remember that O and A's knowledge about metal music is very limited.

Not that there is anything wrong with it.

I know, and that's the thing that aggravates me about the show it I had to say one thing...lack of knowledge of music.

NIRVANA!!! We get it. And they were an average band that got the big break.

On the other hand, Ronnie B namedropped Deicide yesterday for a joke.

I think ONA's knowledge of music is mainly from the times when they were DJ's and thats what they played. I doubt they even listen to music that much anymore. They probably listen to more talk radio than anything else. The mention listening to the replay all the time.

To be fair, Exodus is probably only familiar to hardcore metalheads over I'd say about 28 and under around 42. Are they still together? I lost track of them after Impact Is Imminent.

Used to have white trash parties. We lived in a trailer, our stereo was a record player run through a guitar amp.We had cheap beer and 1 (One) album-"Bonded by blood" by Exodus.Epic parties, had our own mosh pit, trailer park sluts, all kinds of fun. This would have been about 1987.

Damn..when the hell was this? And why was he even there? What was he promoting.

Exodus had about 2 or 3 killer albums in the 80s and then were pretty much gone for years they came back in 2003 I believe with Tempo of the Damned and that album is one of my fav thrash albums. They got 2 others as well since then.

I missed it as well, and he's friend of mine. Rob's known Otto for years. If you've ever seen Telecrappies, he's in it. He's the blue one - Tinky Winky. Doesn't really show up until part 2.

Tempo of the Damned is an absolute masterpiece. That one came from out of the blue and topped most of the older material. Blacklist is near perfect form for them. Culling the herd has the unique guitar rhythm they are known for as well.

The two follow up albums were decent, though the standard metal vocals left me a bit cold in places. Exodus has an extremely unique sound and it's disappointing to see them go with a vocal aspect that is very common metal right now. I'm about 50-50 on the new vocalist.

I'll look for their newest later and give it another try, though. Exodus really defined thrash metal for me so I'll dutifully pick up whatever they put out. Maybe give the last two another listen as well.
