I hate all sports talk that has ever taken place on the show. That's why I stopped listening to the first 50 or so minutes of the show in the last couple of weeks.
Anyone who still likes the Yankees after seeing/hearing that over dramatic douchebag should have their sports fan license revoked.
And don't act like it's a bit and you're in on it. It's not a bit. Sterling fucking stinks.

I've been a Yankees fan long before Sterling was an announcer for them. Yankee fans do not hire or fire the announcers. I get it, you hate the Yankees. Yes, Sterling is douchey but that doesn't mean I should stop liking my team because of him.
Stick to something you know, sports is not one of them.
I like sports. I like light talk about sports. I listen. I don't come on to a message board and complain that I hate it when a radio show talks about sports and demands it to stop.
If there's a subject on the show I don't like, or a guest I'm not interested in, I do other things. It's not going to make me hate the show. My life isn't bothered because of it.
It's a talk radio show. They will talk about things you like and don't like. Welcome to the genre.

I don't mind the sports talk, even though I have no idea what they are talking about. I don't like when they spend time reading back their tweets from the night before. But then again, that's because I already read the tweets, so there may be people that like hearing them read their tweets. Moral of the story...nobody gives a crap what I like and what I don't, as it should be. As long as they aren't doing a show that nobody likes the whole time, it's all good.
This thread just needs to die. Sports talk is such a small part of the show. They'll go weeks outside of the football season without ever talking about sports at all. During the season they might give a recap on the NFL weekend and the other sport's championship series. Outside of that you get an occasional mention of something that happened at an Islander game that Opie was at. If that's too much for you then you need to find a new show. I suggest Martha Stewart or something on the gay channel.
