All of the judges here were cross-filed, so unless you did your homework ahead of time - you have no idea what their party affiliation really is once you're in the booth.

Yup. Worse though is when there's 3 seats up for grabs and it's only 3 people
that are running for them and they all cross file. Great choices you have there.
We need a major overhaul of the system but that'll never happen because it
would take votes from the same people in office to change anything. It sucks.
Here, all of the cross-filed candidates were up top on the voting machine display - with no party division. Underneath showed all of the candidates for other offices were divided by the respective political party.

I hate that crap...it really made it confusing this year, and it's (cross-filing) such a sham to begin with. I usually have to research the judges and such anyway because you don't know shit about them otherwise, but this year seemed harder than in the past.
