I disagree. He's a PERFECT fit for a Las Vegas showroom. When I heard this news I kept thinking, "Why hadn't this already been done 5 years earlier?"

More like 8 years, and then it would have made sense. Now? Not so much.

He was great on the WNEW show, but if you saw him at the Virus tour a few years later.............oooooof.

He's a perfect fit, doesn't do 'edgy' & the act can stay the same for years. Can't shit on the guy for taking this deal. He's an impressionist, what else would you want from him?

Have you ever been to Vegas before? I would rather see him over most of the people they have signed to long term deals out there. The only comedy act I can think of that I wold rather see is Penn and Teller.

I think he's a perfect fit, and they can afford to pay him that because the gamblers are going to pay for everything. The fat midwestern housewives will love his act.

Carrot Top has an absurd deal as well at the Luxor. I can't find a link to exactly what he makes, but I remember Jeff Ross saying it was a couple hundred grand a week.

I wish I could do the same act for ten years and get paid 100 million for it. Being a hack apparently pays better than being one of the hard working tools who say you sold out from their 1982 Saab.

Frank is an easy target these days, but I always thought his jokes were better than most impressionists. Also always thought he was very quick witted and he acquitted himself well on O&A. But then he stopped doing new material, and I'll never understand why. Although, his Fox football bits are still pretty funny normally, even if he's doing the same impressions.

Hes just one in a long line of comics that go to Vegas to die as they crank out the same set night after night to put there awful kids/grand kids through college. I'll take Caroline's and Collin Quinn any day of the week over that kind of garbage.
