Jim Norton is funny. Dangerous, but funny. Dangerous because he is twisted and he knows it and doesn’t care whether or not you want him to share it with you - he does anyway.
HBO gave Jim a special last year and he hit it out of the park, or as Jim might have put it "he put it in the trunk and brought it home to chain in the basement." Pretty much the same thing.
Even if you think you might not like Jim, you’ll be surprised what you find out.
I saw him there in '06 I think. He completely tore it up.
Some drunk redneck was heckling him for a bit, then he started making his way to the stage with a cigar in hand. CSK tossed him out quickly and Jimmy made sure to stomp that cigar to bits on stage.
I saw the early show and I was shocked that amy chick was funny, she did sound like bonnie a little bit though but damn jimmy was funny and my GF bought me his books for him to sign.
We had some drunk preppy looking fuck that kept yelling out bits in the front row but he looked a little mentally off balance.
I loved how jimmy did political humor but didnt really let his preference dominate his act, what a pro.
