That would seem to make sense since they are weekly games, right?

does this help?

Quote:
How are trades processed?A trade consists of one manager exchanging a player or players with another manager in the same league.

To propose a trade, go to your team page and select Propose Trade, which allows you to select the team and player(s) you wish to trade. An email will be sent to the other manager offering your proposed trade. That manager can then go to his/her team page to view the proposal, accept it, decline it or make a counter offer. There must be consent from both managers for a trade to be completed. If no action is taken in 10 days, the offer will automatically be canceled.

Please be sure to keep tabs on the trades that you have offered to other managers. So long as a trade is in the offered state, it can still be accepted. Therefore, there is a possibility that a trade is accepted after a player is injured, demoted, etc. Yahoo! Sports will not intervene in such events.

If your trade is rejected, you will receive an email notifying you of that result.

If a counter offer is made, you will receive an email detailing the new proposal.

If the offer is accepted, the entire league will be notified and managers/commissioners can review the deal. In a Public League, an objection of four or more managers within two days will veto the trade. In a Customer League, the commissioner or the league managers have veto power for the length of time chosen during configuration.

If your Custom League is configured to use the League Vote option, 1/3 of the league managers must vote against the trade in order for it to be vetoed. For example, if your league has 12 teams, then four votes against the deal are needed to veto the trade.

This setting cannot be edited after the league's draft has been completed.

During the review period, trades are marked as pending. Once the trade has been accepted and the waiting period has finished, the trade will be processed (this can take up to 24 hours) and its results reflected on each team's roster and shown in the transaction log.

In order for a trade to be valid, all players involved must still be on the same team they were when the deal was accepted. If they are not, the trade will automatically be rejected. In order to prevent players involved in pending trades from being dropped or waived, managers will not be allowed to make any such transactions involving any players involved a trade once it has been accepted. At no time will any manager be allowed to have more then five pending trades per league. Additionally, accepting any trade that places you over the roster limit will require you to submit the players you plan to drop in order to maintain the proper roster size. Plus, it is important to keep in mind that, for the purpose of trades only, any players on your DL will count towards your roster limit.

i have a quick question. should we be allowing ghost team to make pick-ups? i really dont think so since its not a playing team in the same respects we are . i think it should just be forced to play with the players the comp drafted. not pick up players any of us could use at a latter time.

I think that pick ups should be allowed so that it can try and remain competitive but don't care...

Considering that some teams will play the Ghost Team 3 times I think that it is only fair to allow that team to make moves.

If it is decided that moves are no good can the line up be changed daily???

Wack, can you add a poll to this thread?

i definetly think that ghost team not picking up players could avoid alot of arguments later down the road.it sucks thats its there but it is so we have to deal with it. but if it doesnt pick up any players then we cant say someone is doing anything wrong to block the other teams.

Do I get 2 votes in the poll since I have 2 teams???

I tried to delete the team but it wouldn't let me... Oh yeah running 2 fantasy baseball teams is real fun (more sarcasm) i keep getting my teams confused...

Seriously though, I think that its pretty obvious that the Computer Drafted team is going to be a pushover all year kinda like 4 balls was in last year's league. Personally, I don't think that a team should benefit by playing the Ghost Team 3 times either... but the schedule is what it is.

How bout a compromise???

How about allowing moves only if Someone goess on the DL?? I think that this option seems fair... When the player comes off I'll drop somebody off the team.

Oh and I don't think that its fair to veto a fair trade between Ghost Team and the Cleveland Steamers and allow another team to trade with them. I think that trades are off limits with that team (considering that I am just going to reject the trade anyway)

That being said...

I'll spend the next 5 minutes in the corner for time out...

We'll call it time served and move on...

I don't want no shit man, I just want to play...

That's why I made that team in the first place, because without that team we got no league...

On a side note, way to make my waste my 1000th post... Thanks, I wanted it to be something special...

i'm not giving you shit, i told you i had somebody who i could get to join so it would be even. you took it upon yourself to set up a ghost team.

i really like fantasy leagues and i guess i try to hard to have a fair and fun league.

last season in the football league, i asked that anybody who joins please play the whole season. don't you know after the first or second week i had somebody say they didn't have time to play.

ps-->by calling it a "ghost team" arent you implying that you werem'y even goin g to play it in the first place?

well it is early in the season but people are already not playing thier team. take a look at two teams (dont remember which) but they still have players on the dl in their starting lineups. hopefully they come back and get in the game.
