Default Possible Trade

I have Anthony Thomas, and I am looking to trade him for Torry Holt. Does that sound like a good deal? I am thinking Thomas is just a one hit wonder until Thomas jones comes back. Anyone have any ideas?

well as an owner of holt there is no way in hell i would make that trade. but anything is possible . it would all depend on how desperate or annoyed at holt said owner may be. since holt racked up 100 and a touch yesterday that may be a little harder then it would have been before that game. a train just doesnt have enough upside to pull that trade off. that being said now is the time to try and trade him since his value will be as high as it will be for the rest of the season. but for holt i dont think you have a chance at getting that through.

Hmm, i figured that as well. Right now im blankly staring into my yahoo screen debating if i should throw Coles into the deal and give him Coles and Thomas for Holt. Im saying Coles, cuz he really has done jack shit for me this season.

that one you might get him to bite on. at least thats worth a try. i still wouldnt do it since i know a train's value is very limited once TJ comes back but at least thats a trade i might entertain for a second.

as an example i was offered a trade for holt last week. it was brees and jerry porter for holt. i turned it down cause it did nothing for me but if i needed a qb i may have pulled the trigger since my team in that league isnt doing very well. (although 2 wins in a row things a re looking up a lil).

but mayhaps the guy your looking to trade isnt the same type of owner as me and may see it as a good deal.

Well this kid is crying for a RB right now. He wont stop bothering me for Barber and Green, and I told him those two are off limits. So im gonna try to use Thomas on him.
But thanks for the help. I usually get screwed when i do my trades in fantasy leagues so this time im asking third parties.

I agree with logan, no way in hell I'd go for either deal if I was a holt owner, you'd have to sweeten the pot a little.

What do the 2 teams look like, its kind of hard to say that its a good/bad deal without seeing the overall picture...

jesus how the hell did he end up with 2 backup rb's?(id guess 10+ team league he had a late pick and went culpepper backed it up with holt then maybe walker /wayne way early and took a shot of sj starting at some point and got chatman on fa ). well with his wr depth and lack of anything at rb you could probably pull that off. id talk to him maybe send him an email before posting the trade through yahoo. see what his interest in atrain is and say yould be wiling to ship him for holt. then if he balks throw in coles/givens. givens' value is up right now also . still think it may be a long shot to pull off but thats how i would try to work it.

Amazing...

A guy drafts a shit team like this and looks like a genius, because culpepper is white hot and scores more than enough points to cover the pieces of s' that he has at RB...

Man i hate fantasy football sometimes...

I know man tell me about it. When I played against his team Culpeper was the deciding factor. It just dicked me that, that week i decided to play Hasselbeck over Carr. If Carr is free in any leagues you guys are on now, pick him up and keep him.

Here's My Squad in a keeper league:

T. Green
T. Rattay

A. Green
F. Taylor
K. Barlow
L. Jordan
S. Morris

R. Smith
D. Driver
B. Lloyd
K. Colbert
C. Rogers
M. Robinson
J. McCarens

K/D is irrelevent because I will never keep one of them.

I can keep up to 5 of them for next year, I am thinking of keeping A. Green, Taylor, Barlow, Jordan and either Lloyd, Rogers, or Colbert... I am Leaning towards Lloyd as my 5th

Who would you Keep???

I would probably go with Donald Driver over any of those three. My league sucks, their a bunch of little bitches who dont want to do a keeper league.

Oh I am a fantasy addict, but I never did a keeper league before though, everything has been a redraft league...

I can't believe that trade went through in your league, I don't care how bad he's been this year, you don't trade torry holt for the a train after 1 freaking game when he's probably only going to start 1 or 2 more games...

I am currently trying to dump Marcus Robinson for a 2nd rounder next year...

BTW, this is post 1,400... for me, whoo-hoo...
