I remember that show from when I was a kid, although I dont remember what it was about.

I do remember the song though. by the way who was "the man"? ....Who was chico and what does he do?

Ok the show is about a old man who owns a gargage in East Los Angeles in the barrio. Chico is a mexican man and The Man is a old white man named Ed Brown. The show is pretty funny i just discovered it the other day on TVLand god i love that channel. Another interesting note Chico is played by Freddie Prinze the father of actor Freddie Prinze Jr. Freddie Prinze actually killed himself i believe. The show lasted from 1974-1978 after he killed himself they tried to replace him but it didnt work they show went off the air. There is 88 total episodes of Chico and the man. Oh yeah and Jack Albertson plays the Man.

some of our cable providers don't give us tv land...I mean I don't even get cartoon network..or M2.
